What is the fastest way to get into the Sellaronda loop starting from the town of Badia? Just follow this instructions and you will not get lost or looking on a map guessing where you are while skiing between Badia and Corvara ;-)

Che meraviglia, il Sella Ronda l'ho fatto la prima volta, partendo da Selva di Val Gardena, nel 1991 sia in senso orario e sia in senso antiorario e per molti anni; da Badia non l'avevo mai visto nè fatto, per me è stata una grande emozione, spero quest'inverno di poter sciare nel comprensorio di Santa Croce; grazie e cordiali saluti, Elio Di Bari, da Matera ex Capitale della Cultura 2019.

Super Aufnahmen, die schönen Erinnerungen in mir geweckt haben. War leider diesen Winter nicht möglich. Hoffentlich können Skifahren in Alta Badia im nächsten Winter wieder genießen. Viele Grüße aus Oberbayern vom Starnberger See

I found your videos on Snowheads ! (someone posted the recent "sella ronda with no lifts"). I am slowly watching as many as I can ! In this video - the slopes and lifts were so quiet - so I wanted to ask what are the quietest weeks in a normal season ??

Neil, thank you for watching the video. Once you skip peak season (Christmas/New Year/Carnival) and certain weekends during winter you can move around easily. Then it also depends the time of the day 😉 During midday (1 to 3 PM) most of the people are having lunch in the many huts around and slopes are quiter. Just to give you an example about timing, we prefer to do the long Lagazuoi towards Armentarola slope (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jdaWa9uJyq_YfnU.html) on the late afternoon, or after a a counter clockwise Sellaronda than in the morning where you probably have to stay in line 1 hour before getting into the tram. Hope this information was useful.

I've never been to Italy before I usually go to France. Maybe it was the camera angle but that first and second runs looked more like a blue piste? It fills me with hope as I am a nervous blue piste skier. Would you say it was an easy red for someone nervous?

First is a red one, but it have all "blue" variants for the steepest sections, same for the second piste. Alta Badia is the best place in the Dolomites for family skiing. So slopes are prepared accordingly. You will have a lot of fun!!! And as you are in the area, come bye and say hi at Ustaria Posta (www.ustariaposta.it)

Actually ... the most dangerous place are the Aprés Ski's, it's there where you really need a helmet! 😂😂😂
