so, did the shortened knuckles effect the handling characteristics and turning feel in a bad way or good way?, when not drifting.

Awesome! You'll notice a enormous difference in track, you don't have to worry about spinning out so you can huck it in with May more confidence and force now. U guys should make some rack spacers to to make the steering geometry better for being all lowered. Also if u want less camber in the rear you should get extended rear upper control arms and then dial in your alignment.

How much is usually a good amount to remove?

I would recommend upgrading the front lines brake lines to braided stainless steel because your brake response will be a whole alot better

rudnik, you should leave the nuts on really loose so if you miss when swinging the hammer, it won't damage the threads on the tie rods and ball joints

Chris if ur going full drift car take as much camber out of the rear possible and add a little bit of toe in. Also add a little toe out on the front. you will get a faster turn in, a little less grip in the rear, and it should make the car pretty stable in a slide. honestly, play around with ur suspention setup and find what is best for you! :) hope i helped!

Not gonna lie when I saw the spindle in pieces I was thinking this is gonna end badly but the guy welding did a good job. I was expecting some terrible mig welding like that diff in the other guys car.

Hey you guys, let me tell you that you should look into the cb 909 electrode for arc welding, yuo can weld unknow surfaces and cas and all that jazz if you follow the right process, seriously cb 909 or super missle rod is the best for cast or anything unknown stainless of straight steel i think it 120,00 psi tensil which is double standard mig wire

I hope you do decide to raise it a bit with less camber and tires that aren't stretched. At least in the front, I don't know if you can spin wider tires. That low "frame banging" life just wears out everything quicker and hinders performance. Function over form!
