For some reason when I kill the black dragon, it doesn’t register on the quest as if I completed it.

Not sure yet, but I think the questline is bugged on xbox. I finished the 3 instances and handed in the quest, but couldn't get the next item and now the npc is greyed out and it says I have to finish essence of thief which I obviously just did :( In the campaign menu there is now the Last step available but I can't pursue because I'm missing the essence of thief item.

it's weird I'm in the 7th week of the campaign and the dwarf who should give me the quest doesn't give it to me, what should I do?

Seeing how long it takes to get the materials for upgrading the weapons from Dragonbone Vale, 10 weeks seems like a blessing. Getting the weapons is easy enough, it's the upgrading them that takes forever. I'd much rather do it this way. At least this way, it's not back and forth, needing to get one material and also spend that same material to get another. And don't get me started on the Dragonslayer gear only being 50 points higher in IL than the Dragonbone Vale ones while needing AD to buy them as if the other materials and needing to kill an ungodly number of dragons wasn't enough. That's only 200 more IL from the armor, I get more when I have enough powder to upgrade my insignias from Legendary to Mythic. If the gear from Dragonslayer looked better and was 1900 IL, I wouldn't still be complaining. And if you couldn't tell, I'm still a bit salty about the gear from the last two mods.

The dragon slayer mythic gear is invaluable, it's the best stuff in the game, miles better than anything from dragonbone vale, regardless of item level!

@@JoshuaRWorkman This is a good example of how confused new players are when coming into NW. This is true for a lot of MMOs, I guess. It doesn't feel so for those who has been playing for a long time, but it is a daunting task to explain the game to new players.

@@jessiedonner2793 Yeah. This is my MMO of choice and I need my hand held for Final Fantasy XIV, Guild Wars 2, and SWTOR because I play them, but not nearly as much as Neverwinter. I can get the hang of the new content, whatever it is, in this game with minimal issues, maybe I'll watch a video like this one before launch, but for the most part, my previous experiences translate well enough to needing little if any extra instruction. But Final Fantasy XIV, Guild Wars 2, and SWTOR, I have to look everything up and next to none of it makes sense at first because it's not what I'm used to or, if either of them were my first MMO, I wouldn't have any such experience at all.

it wouId be better to put a gas pedaI on the weapon Iike , *after dodging IF you use an ENCOUNTER POWER within 2 seconds buff activates* rather than a pIain dodge u might do for survivaI reasons

When you progress through the gold quedtline, you can unlock another mini dungeon, and then another after that. So you should be able to get 4 weeklies total near the end

The whole set gives a total of 480 + 200 as pure stat given by the weapons, base damage for DPS roles. This is big, it'll change things a lot The fact that they are adding Base Damage to gear is big, it'll make things even harder to determine what's really "BiS" for end-game content, since base damage is, well... base damage, which is also affected by all the stats and multipliers. You yourself know that this is huge.

Damage is not new in mod 16,17,18,19 we have 4k damage base on weapons set like alabaster set gave 4.2k damage

if the new weapons are unbound at release too im selling them without a second thought casue i dont like buffs that i cant maintain 15s no buff is way too long as for randoms if we can already do them at 40-50kIL better ones help but not needed especially when we are lacking players to do randoms now

@@Aragon- precisely this unbound weapons will break the game even further in terms of team formation now im noticing a new prb inexperienced 70k vs experienced 40k the time and cost gate to switch roles at ease is already preventing us from playing tank/heal then this stigma against low IL ppl and difficulty in telling who are able to play their role well before starting a map fail rate now has increased not becasue of difficulty or nerf but due to inexperienced players getting access to content before they are ready

The only thing that be considered of this weapons is the additional 200 dmg...the rest of mechanics are pure aoe where the use of the shift is massive. In a trial i think this weapon are sure under MW and maybe also under Mirage...

You can always shift into the boss before your artifact call and you get the buff

I don't think you could do last boss with it healing all the time, unless you could use something else to intercept the lines, than yourself, and then the cocoon... I guess if you use the door exploit...

@@Aragon- I can't show sadly but there is a way solo around 28 or 24 hours if I'm lucky but a full dps party ever one with mirage I haven't tested do to safety and because I'm a mostly a solo player that like to run reaper FBI by my self is hard to trust ppl but my prediction will will in 1 to 2 hour 5 dps also if we get lucky

I would rather have more content or grinding to do though than a short 4 week campaign that has been the norm, but I am an old school MMO player who grew up on grindy games. I personally see this as a good thing.

You just have to do some quests to get these. If you don't spend all your currency on the new companion gear, you easy will have enough currency for the legendary weapons

So the trend of no artifact modifications seems to be continuing... RIP. Feeling unenthused about M24, salty AF about the overkill BoA nerf, and the recycled content, insta-leveling now so no one learns their class (but gets stupid high IL gear that is useless)... game is too far gone. Dumbed down, lobotomized, ruined.

I'm sure their on a budget, and why make something entirely new, when they can use resources from way back with mod 16. I personally don't care. I'm not going to spend enough time in those mini dungeons for it to matter. Get the quest and in and out asap to get the completion.
