Hi, thank you. The links are working on all my devices, just checked. If you have some other links do let us know, also try to open the links directly instead of copy pasting them in browsers. Because the KZfaq algorithm changes the endings to links, hence copy pasting them won't work, click the links directly and they will work.

@@SirGamma it’s funny you posted this as I was looking for a solution to the links not working for registration anymore. It’s right on time . I’m registering a song called ‘Cocaine and JESUS’ … timing was perfect.. and you have an amazing presence on video. Can’t wait for more … good job 👍

is the "code #1 price" for physical copies? what if you don't sell vinyl or CD albums? do you just put in "$0" if you're only on DSP's?

Is there any way to register with Luminate/Billboard without having to pay the $35 a month fee? If Billboard "hired a company to register music for them", we shouldn't have to pay. I don't see the value of paying $35 a month to simply register. We already have the ISRC codes, etc.

Who said you have to pay? Paying is for other services which are offered by Luminate. Just go to the form links mentioned below, fill the forms and you're good to go. No one needs to pay anything

How many singles you have to sell or downloads to get on the billboard charts?

This varies for every category and genre, Sometimes it takes less than 1000 albums in one week to make a Billboard Chart, even 450 sales could make it to #200.

Hello thanks for always educating independent artist am grateful for all of your lessons I’ve got few questions concerning the new Nielsen sound-scan Luminate , I’ve once followed these process months ago but the page was different then, bthat isn’t the problem but the problem is when i tried to go through the page this time around the page came as Luminate docs which isn’t a problem either cos i gave out each and every details they requested for and they sent me a mail of the Luminate docs i filled in. But my problem now is how do i know my song is being registered to billboard i haven’t gotten a mail concerning my song being placed on billboard that is problem currently, i hope to hear from you soon thank you.

Hi, thank you for the love. Much appreciated. They cannot email everyone with the confirmation of song registrations. If you want to be clear, you can email them (email id can be found on their website) and they can help you better in this.

Doesn't the title automatically get registered once you register the ISRC code? If not, why do both need to be submitted individually?

Is registering the whole album the same as registering each individual song on the same album??? Is it necessary to register every song on the album, or can you just register the whole album at once and get the same effect with less steps? What's the difference? Please explain if there is!

There's a difference. The whole album might not be your best selling, but any one song from that album can be. Hence you need to register separate songs and albums collectively as well. So Billboard can count both song sales and album sales.

Yes you can, but it'll be difficult for them to correct their databases because thousands of songs are registered on a daily basis. So get in touch with the customer care first, they'll guide you the better way.

Hi, this is only for Canada and US sales but that doesn't matter if the song is from India or any other country. Any songs that are charting the sales in Canada & US will be tracked by Luminate

I'm assuming you are asking about ISRCs. Then, Nope, both of these are different things. You'll be provided both UPC & ISRC when you release via distributor. Both of them are different codes

@@mrrida503 That is the UPC of that particular CD. ISRC is embedded in the audio itself.

Because CD Baby gives me an individual ISRC code for my individual songs, but only a UPC/EAN code for the album as a whole.. and they're both 12 digits so it's confusing! What I'm basically understanding is that the UPC/EAN 12 digit code is for the album, and the ISRC code is for the individual tracks on the album.. The whole album doesn't have it's own ISRC code, because that code is the UPC/EAN. Am I understanding this right???

@@mrrida503 Yes you are correct. You get the UPC for the album as a whole and ISRC for individual tracks. You can distinguish them this way - ISRC is a 12 character alphanumeric code whereas UPC is a 12 digit strictly numerical code.
