It’s such a clever concept to say “ALEXA” frequently in this video, causing my Alexa to constantly activate! …

Is there an alexa skill that helps me know where I've put my stuff around the house?! For example, I tell Alexa, "I put the boxing gloves in the second drawer in the big closet." Alexa: "I kept the tire pump on the garage shelf in a blue box." Later (maybe months later) I would ask Alexa where I kept something and she would answer me what I had previously told Alexa. example: "Alexa, where is the air pump?" Alexa: "air pump is on the shelf in the garage inside a blue box" I would love to have a skill like this one or similar. Does anyone know if there is already an alexa skill like this or similar? Thanks!

Which feature are you most excited to try first? How do you plan to use these in your home?

You know how the news channels have a ticker scrolling across the bottom of the screen? Wouldn’t it be great if I could have the same feature on my Echo Show, where I can curate it so it’s relevant to me; local news, updates on my favourite sports teams, stocks etc…

WHY!!? Is there no “GROUP” And or “ROUTINE” widget. (Cameras widget even) Ahhh!!! The MOST powerful use of Alexa in home automation is with routines - I can set up my entire house for dinner/ bed/ movies / all on/ all off with one tap routines, the only way to access these is via slow moving sub menus. The only home automation control widget available to use is “favorites” allowing me space to turn on 4 lights individually, wow. REALLY!?. What a waste of time and money? So disappointed in this product to bridge home automation voice control with a touch interface! Secondly and very frustratingly, I have an Alexa wall clock above it - but 1/3 of a physical touch interface is dedicated to a freaking screen saver with useless scrolling suggestions that never display the info you want when your looking at it, shall I sit and wait 3 mins for it to show me weather!? photos or clock!!! Why wouldn’t you make the entire device ALL widgets so I can choose how much Realestate I want for each widget / clock/ weather/ photos/ cameras/ lights / calanders/ suggestions !! 🤯🤯🤯🤯 More over (finally a visual control of Spotify)- The Spotify widget doesn’t have a search function!????I can only play suggested songs!????. And I can’t select ALEXA speaker groups!??????? - so on my $400 Alexa screen, I can’t press a button to play Spotify on my expensive echos and subwoofer stereo pair - I can only use the 1.6 inch speakers on the show 15. Seriously!? I’m keen to hear your response. I own 14 echos. Over 60 home automation devices and this show is a massive disappointment with a MASSIVE lack of basic home automation control which is all available on the Alexa phone app. What’s ridiculous is that - widget’s for routines or groups are already known by the Alexa account. It’s literally a link. I can’t imagine it’s hard to make a widget for these various home control sub categories. Please correct me if I’m wrong on any of this. This product could be SO much more useful if it worked in with the Alexa home automation ecosystem. But it’s otherwise a janky expensive stand alone product that doesn’t integrate at all well with the ring cameras/ smart home lighting control groups/ routines/ or speaker groups. Absolutely wasted opportunity at this point. I wanted this to bridge the visual control of my smart home so badly, but it’s incredibly half baked at present. Please consider my comments! I would be keen to hear others thoughts as well!!!

Just bought the Echo Show 15 and was disappointed to find that these seem to be about the ONLY worthwhile features. This would really benefit from a calendar view that displays the full month and a preview of the events occurring on each day. I bought this as a replacement for a desk calendar and while there are some nice features, it's definitely not a suitable replacement if you have to scroll through to each day manually rather than see a global view of events that month.

Maybe you can figure out a way to make these videos without triggering Alexa every time you say her name? Had to turn down volume and watch with captions.
