This video shows you how to use the Microsoft XBox 360 power adaptor DPSN-186XXX as 12V 16A Power supply for any purpose you like. For example I will be using it to charge Lipo Battery ..

Very useful video. My spare Xbox PSU has a 12volt high 12.1amp current which can be used for many projects.

I was wondering if I could take the cable end off of the "xbox one power brick" and rig it to this one "the xbox 360 brick" it needs 12 volt to turn on I'm having difficulty finding one can't order a new one so might take it apart to try I can always put it back together the brick gets really hot when I'm running my 360 and I'm worried the xbox one is too much for it can't buy a new console either until my tax return in 3 months just paid for new month of gaming 2 games I really wanna play

Brushless motor should have 3 wires. it needs Electronic Speed Controller. ESC. If you don't have it. this will not work. This is just a power source. if your motor has just 2 wires, then I have shown the positive and negative in the video.

Can i cannot a dc motor to it or a weak dc brushless fan.0.25 amps dc 12 volts cooling master high performance.

Yes you connect up to 64 motors with 0.25A current need.

Will you please try load test on this device? Because the one I have turns red if you put load on it like 12v motor @ 24w ~ 30w. I don't know why.

it must be defective or it gets Overloaded and protections shuts it off..

If i understand well the wires with the same colour can be connected together ? (of course connecting yellow with yellow and black with black) Moreover i see that you have cut out the ferrite bead ... better to keep it or not ? thank you very much indeed again. you are welcome. Yes the like colored wires should be kept together. the beads reduce noise on the line. keeping it is better.

Question - when I connect blue with red, the led doesn't go green like in your case, but goes red and there is nothing between black and yellow. Is the supply faulty, or do I do anything wrong?

I am not sure. it seems it goes OFF. this possibly would happen if the output is short circuited .

The measure 10.7 volts when they are f****d up. So I’m guessing that’s what you’re dealing with.

This outputs only 12V and you can do what’s you want with it

CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE, USING AN OLD XBOX 360 POWER SUPPLY TO CONVERT A 12V CORDLESS DRILL AFTER PLUGGING ALL YELLOW TOGETHER, ALL BLACK TOGETHER AND RED AND BLUE TOGETHER. THEN I PLUG BLACK WIRES TO NEGATIVE OF THE DRILL AND YELLOW WIRES TO THE POSITIVE WHEN TURNED THE DRILL ON IT SPIN FOR A FEW SCONDS AND THE POWER SUPPLY BECAME RED. I UNPLUG IT TO RESET IT, IT KEEP DOING THE SAME THING.

If you can turn it ON, don't worry about it. Perhaps you have two Ground wires.

It is not about the time. You set the charger to 13.8V and set the current to the recommended current like 5A or 10A and for example your car battery capacity is 50A/h ans you and your charger can supply 5A, then 5x10=50A so it will take 10A to charge . But generally you don’t have co control over time. It will stop automatically.

No. But you can feed the output of this to input of a boost converter like this kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bM99Zppp37mxeZs.html to get huger voltages , this is my other channel focusing on electronics and robotics
