Time for a deep dive!! How to build perfect close marks in archers mark or archers advantage, and how to get clearance for long distance shots and build a long distance sight tape! This is why you’ll never catch me running just a sight tape on my bow. I’m out there running all this craziness at once because I want to know that my stuff is perfect, and I have options! One tape on your sight just can’t do all of the things that I can when running these programs!

That is an awesome way to do that!..I would do.the same thing but I would adjust my shot in marks by a few clicks each way until my short yardage was spot on...this way definitely sounds like its more accurate I dont shoot well enough to see a few click difference on my 30 and 60 marks but im definitely going to try this

Wow! I tried the short mark part of this video. Last night we shot spots at our league night. There were 20 targets at less than 20 yards. Following your process, I shot a 434 out of 440 (a personal best!). The 6 that I missed were on me, not on your process! Haven't had a chance to try your long range process yet, but I will. Thanks so much for your pro tips. I am a very satisfied and grateful senior amateur!!

Hey! I’m not I don’t shoot anything IBO. I don’t shoot unknown, everything I shoot is know. So indoor, world archery, USA archery, NFAA, and even Asa. So I have a full schedule and don’t do anything unknown :)

Hey Paige, this is super helpful. Any tips on how to work with a B3 sight? They are a 25 click sight that doesn't come with a fixed scale. Can I use my calibrated scale that I made with archers advantage without a fixed scale?

Sooo apparently it won’t work at all with B3. They haven’t built their sights to work with all of this stuff. So if you have that you can go print tapes the old school way from archers advantage and print and check till you get the right tape! I’m sorry about that I know it’s inconvenient!

No words for how dialed in you are! I would like your thoughts on what I do to edit my close marks. Once I set my 20 and 50, I use the edit function to get my close marks. Typically I can do a 10 yard edit and I 5 yard edit and everything under 20 seems good. Is there a reason that method is less accurate?

No you can do that… but if you change your main marks it usually clears out all your different edits. So this way if I want to change my 80 mark by 2 clicks I can change that and not loose all the extra edits I have stuck into the system :)

I have 4 pins on the sight of 10, 30, 50 and 60m have not tried to shoot from 6 meters, I only know that from 1 meter you need to aim at 30m pin. With 6m it is possible as with 20m.

Does this mean that Archers Mark's algorithm is wrong? It should be accurate in the whole range of marks, otherwise... well it's not? With all of the data it collects shouldn't it work? Honest question, very confused.

@@isaiah3898 every time I set one up I’m always like okay I’m filming a video! But it’s usually like the day before season opens and it’s a cluster trying to get them broadhead tuned and sighted in for me, so then I run out of time and it never happens 🤣 I struggle a little with pins when I’m used to an 8x lens then go to no lens the animals/ target looks small and the pins look giant. So it takes me a bit to get used to seeing stuff differently! But I need to just film that one day just to film it, not try when I’m actually trying to do it in a hurry! Lol

Hello Paige.... Does this also work on a five pin sight? Or just the single pin sight?

The archers mark is for a single pin. But I use archers advantage to print a tap that matches my 6 pin hunting sight and my 70 pin becomes a floater so if I roll my sight down I always use my 70 pin as that floater and my tape World from there! That tape can’t come from archers mark so use archers advantage for something like that!

Hello. I wonder if there is a reason why you use Archer's Mark over Archers advantage ? (or did I miss something?)

I use archers advantage if I want to print a tape. But because archers mark is an app it’s super convenient to have with you at all times. I can make quick easy adjustments and I don’t need phone service to do it. You can print the same type mark sheet of AA too. But I do tapes from AA and mark card from archers mark

Archers Mark never works for me.I just shoot them in on paper.They quit making my cam lubrication and it changed my impact at 60 yards by 6 inches.I went from a bow specific lubrication to a non archery specific lubrication and picked up speed.Archers Mark keeps yelling at me that I am out of their tolerance and I can’t adjust anything.Paper don’t do me that wrong.

CBE HYBRID ENGAGE. I started using archers advantage instead of archers mark. Didn’t know to enter my sight as “inches” in the program. I was able to kinda get it dialed in for tac seven springs but still slightly off. Thank you for your videos and great information

Archers Mark does not work with CBE sights that own.
