In today’s video I show you how to get perfect wheel fitment with motorsport hardware wheel spacers and motorsport hardware wheel stud conversions. You’re going to want to figure out how much spacing you need to add to your wheels to get the perfect fit and then on any European car I always recommend to change to wheel studs as it helps greatly with changing out wheels and tires often. Also it is much easier to replace a Wheel stud versus a hub do too it’s tripping out from a bad wheel stud. You can get these items on HTTP://www.motorsporthardware.com

Looks EXCELLENT! Hockey Pucks for Floor Jack Cup and or Jack Stands so as not to besmirch the undercarriage points and a super thin film of Anti-seize between Spacer and Hub and between Wheel and Spacer. Helps cuz water gets trapped at wash times and starts the corrosion.

Just look at the video car looks awesome with the wheel spacers so my question is I have a 2015 428i M Sport coupe with 19” staggered setup and cars lowered so as for the spacers you did 15mm front 12mm rear can I use the same setup for my car it doesn’t have the big brake kit or would I use smaller spacers

Hey I have 2012 BMW 528i xdrive and I have m4 wheels on its but I'm running 245/40/19 Front and Rear 275/35/19 .I wanted to know if I could do the same set up like you have on your car ?

Yeah that’s stock M4 sizing that I have on my car. Not sure why you have a 245 up front that’s just the wrong size tire.

I see you didnt use anti-seize between the mating surface of the spacer and rotor. Some do, some dont...is it recommended in their install instructions?

I live in California so I don’t have rust issues. You definitely can use it if you’d like. I’d most likely burn it off during track days from heat.

Yes, studs spacers and nuts. Factory uses wheel bolts.

I have to nitpick on the comment about hub centric being necessary. It’s helpful but not necessary and if done right, not dangerous. On a properly centered and torqued wheel, there is no load on the hub ring. That simply aids centering the wheel at time of install, particularly in rushed situations it can be very helpful. The clamping force (the force that actually holds the wheel to the car) exists on the rotor face and wheel hub face. So again, very helpful but not totally necessary if you perform the install carefully (star pattern torque sequence) and proper final torque. As far as your track light spacers, I’d be more confident with a full face spacer as you appear to have very small contact areas with those spacers. Any weight savings by those drilled holes are negligible particularly since it’s at the center of the wheel. Nice video though.

The best way to ruin a sporty set-up, especially with a car like yours, is to put spacers on the wheels! If you really wanted to do a good job you had to replace the rims by putting them with a minor ET.
