I had trouble with pigeons on my balcony. After trying a few things, I finally found something that actually worked. I don't know how it works but reflective prisms have ended my pigeon problem. I never tried CDs but the prisms are a lot more reflective than a CD. Apparently it has an adverse effect on a pigeon's eyesight. I hung 5 strands of diamond shaped prisms off my balcony. Each strand has like 4 diamonds. I also hung prism tape high up close to the ceiling. Any pigeons who land on my neighbor's balconies (both right and left neighbors) can see the prism tape hanging from my balcony ceiling. After a day they stopped coming to my neighbor's balconies. This is great because by keeping my neighbor's balconies free of pigeons, I don't have to listen to their annoying cooing. I highly recommend hanging prisms to those who want to end their pigeon problem once and for all.

I live in a Toronto, Canada, and I have had problems with pigeons. It was entirely because there were idiots living in nearby buildings who were throwing them food scraps. In Toronto there is enough garbage in the streets to keep all the pigeons fed. I confronted the fools who were throwing out their leftovers for the birds to feed on. Some of your solutions look kinda neat, but the real problem with pigeons is that 'animal lovers' are willingly feeding them. My personal solution is to find the feeders and get on their cases. Pigeon feeding is animal cruelty, because it makes the pigeons dependent on people.

Pigeons have hijacked my balcony. They dig out my potted plants/vegetables they are just so messy! I want my patio back!!

An ultrasonic plug-in rodent deterrent ended our pigeon problem. They were bothered by the clicking sound it made. It was placed in an attic space on the inside near the roof section where they liked to hang out. This happened several years ago. We have kept it plugged in and they've never come back.

I caught one today who was trying to build a nest and tossed it inside the washing machine and turned on the air dry mode 😂😂😂. Big mistake. Feathers n poop all around the tub 😮

Doesn't sound like it would work but I had a severe problem with them on my balcony.I bought bird scare tape from Wish.For less than $4 I solved my pigeon problem.
