One day I just finished having a shower with my towel on and stuff.. So randomly.. God said to me, "you are my beloved daughter in whom I am very well pleased." He talks and blurts out sweetness to us in the most unexpected times. He does love us like He loves Jesus. To think about it, how much love... When He was pleased Jesus was marred just for our sake.. I love it..

He sees His son IN us.

Hi there. God is able to chastise in many ways (sickness and disease exempted). It can be someone who treats you badly and you're expected to react in godly way, teaching you humility. It can be taking away something you idolise or just taking you through the "wilderness" to train you to trust in Him. The conversation between the devil and God regarding Job was real but it happened before the blood of Christ redeemed us. We are now in Christ and have been redeemed from every curse, not through works but through faith (which results in works). Yahweh or The Lord was a God to Israel ONLY and to its people - Yahweh is not God. There never was a word for God - it was always ELOHIM- That word is plural and they are many - nobody knows exactly who they are. I AM was told to Moses by Yahweh who asked him who he was as there were many "Gods ". Yahweh was seen !!! in the Greek story in the NT we are told NOBODY has seen the Father !!!! so Yahweh was not " God ". (Exodus 3:14) Moses asks what he is to say to the Israelites when they ask what the gods ('Elohiym) have sent him to them, and Yahweh replies, "I am who I am," adding, "Say this to the people of Israel, 'I am has sent me to you. TELL THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL !!!! Ten commandments were made as a system of control for people of Israel ONLY. In fact there were 613 of them not just 10. I agree as far as leadership he is extremely trustworthy. I wouldn't stray from his teachings.

​@@mikerutkowski7265 The message I have heard Curry speak has been almost entirely pure Biblical scripture, in context, and it has essentially always come down to saying "God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all" (1 John 1:5), and Jesus is THE solution (pretty much all scripture points to Jesus as salvation in all facets, but John 14:6 is a nice 'big picture' one). Everything I've heard and seen from Curry lines up with all scripture I've studied and walked out in my own life. There have been only a few very small things like something about details of combating demons, and I didn't have any way to test that against scripture, so I ignored it. I'm always testing what he says and checking it out and everyone should always do this - know The Word. God's Word is not of the devil, and that's what I've heard from him, so I refuse to call his message of the devil. A man's message cannot be of the devil if he only speaks what God spoke (I'm referring to the Bible, not some "God told me" thing that has no basis in the Bible). That said, I agree no one should take a person's word for God's Word, but I've also never heard Curry say people are to only listen to him. Instead, I've heard him tell people to know the Word for themselves, on many occasions. If any teacher speaks God's Word, you listen. If not, you don't. It's not about the man, it's about the message. Simple. I wholeheartedly expect Curry would say to avoid saying, "I follow Curry". This is very much like what Paul dealt with in 1 Corinthians 3:4-7 : " For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not mere men? What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. " Teachers obviously have a place as ordained by God (Ephesians 4), but teachers themselves are never a place for your faith. That WILL fail. Faith is only faith when it's in God, and to have faith in God is to believe and stand in His Word alone. And when having faith in God's WORD, don't ever miss the connection that God's Word IS Jesus (John 1:1-18), so don't only think of the Word of God as inked pages that are a guide to live by, but the Word is THE Life itself, THE Way, THE Truth (back to John 14:6 again). When you boil it down, The Message is quite literally Jesus, and that's the message I've heard Curry speak.
