@wearelostinjapan I have a question about baggage/suitcase and backpack. I read that you can check in two suitcases. I plan to check both of my suitcases. Is a regular size backpack allowed to be brought inside or on my lap? Thanks!

Up to 2 suitcases can be checked in per person. You can place your backpack in the ceiling space inside the bus.

Thank you for this video. I followed your instructions to take this bus from Haneda to the Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower and walked to my hotel just 2 blocks away last week. It's so convenient and cheap. I took the return trip the same way. I almost went with the train route to the Shinjuku JR station. Thanks goodness I didn't. That station is a ZOO!

I've been to Japan, mostly Tokyo and Yokohama, 3 times in the last 5 years, about one week each time. Japan is a very safe place including Kabukicho. It's a place where young people hang out all night and make a lot of noise, but they're harmless. My room was on the 11th floor but I still could hear the noise from the street. If you're a nightlife type, you'd like it here. Drinking and eating places everywhere. Be aware that the rooms are very small.

@Beast0Mode0Ultra They were called "Green Tomato." Can't recommend them enough. It was so great after a 10 hour flight to not have to worry about finding the next train or bus to catch. I just walked out into arrivals and there was someone standing there holding a sign with my name on it. The price was very reasonable. WAY cheaper than a taxi, which are notoriously expensive in Japan. Only about 25 or 30 dollars per person if I remember correctly.

Even if you do not have a reservation, you can board the bus if there are vacant seats. If you are boarding from Haneda Airport, please purchase a timed ticket at the automatic ticket vending machine or bus ticket counter before boarding. Please note that flights departing in the morning are very crowded, so we recommend making reservations in advance.

The driver will unload your luggage at each stop, so you don't have to worry!

Just one question, if you get a ticket for the 15:30 bus for example, and you go to the correct bus station, how do you know which bus is the 15:30 one? Like if you're there at 15:20 or 15:25, is the bus there going to be the 15:20 one or the 15:30 one? Is there a way to tell or do you just ask? Thank you

When we arrived at the Shinjuku station, we will be taking the bus or subway to our hotel which is in Shinjuku. We will have problem. This is our first time with zero Japanese. I am nervous.

Hi, glad to found your video! Hopefully you can help me. I will arrive around 10.30pm in Haneda and plan to take limo bus around 11.30pm to go to my hotel at Landabout Tokyo. Do you know where is the nearest drop off for me? should i get another metro/subway after that? but I'm not sure if the metro/subway still operated :')

LANDABOUT TOKYO is a 3-minute walk from Uguisudani Station, so it's better to take the train. There are plenty of trains at 22:30. Haneda Airport → Hamamatsucho (Tokyo Monorail) 19 minutes Hamamatsucho → Uguisudani (Yamanote Line) 16 minutes

Thanks for watching! As far as i know there's no limousine bus to Ginaza. But there's one to Tokyo station. You need to buy a ticket at the counter or vending machine. If you know about the bus you are planning to take let me know! I'm gonna look into it!

You can buy tickets to Narita Airport at Busta Shinjuku, the bus terminal at the south exit of Shinjuku Station.

Thanks for watching! From Haneda Airport, there are taxis with flat rate fares. ・5,900JPY + tall between 5AM and 10PM ・7,100JPY + tall between 10PM and 5AM I thinks Taxi can be a good choice if you are traveling in a group.

This bus does not stop at any stations along the way, but only stops at the bus terminal (Busta Shinjuku) at the south exit of Shinjuku Station.

Hi there, from the Airport Bus website, there seems to be several bus services suspended? I have the most interest in the one from Haneda to Akihabara. Couldn't find any info why it is suspended but I am guessing due to manpower crunch?

Shinjuku Station is large, so there are several places to get off, so when you get on the bus, take the bus bound for Shinjuku Station West Exit. (At 2:37) There is a taxi area right next to the bus stop at the Shinjuku West Exit.

Thanks a lot for this video! I have a question and maybe you can help. In a month I will travel from Haneda to Shinjuku. Our hotel is at Higashi-Shinjuku Station. So it would be an option to take the Airport Limousine to the Keio Plaza Hotel or Hyatt Regency Hotel and then the Toe Oedo line from Tocho Mae two stations to Higashi Shinjuku. Is it Ok to take the bus to a hotel I am not staying in, because it is close to a metro station? Because if I get off at the bus terminal I would have to take the Toe Oedo one station to Tocho Mae and change again to the other plattform. That's more inconvenient. Thank you!

The best way is to take a bus from Haneda to Shinjuku West Exit and take a taxi from Shinjuku West Exit to your hotel (around Higashi-Shinjuku Station).

The taxi ride from the west exit to your hotel will take 5 to 10 minutes, so it will cost less than 1,000 yen. The taxi area is next to the bus area at the west exit, so you won't get lost!

Hi there! Thanks for watching the video! I think you should get off at the last stop Busta Shinjuku. Then take a taxi or take JR Yamanote Line to Shin-Okubo Station. The last bus to Shinjuku departs at 11:40pm. So i am hoping your flight won't be delayed!!

Hi there! This bus does not stop the hotel you are staying. I would take the bus for TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER and get off at the TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER. You can get to Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho in 5 min by walk.

There is only one button that displays "Shinjuku" on the screen, so press it. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from Shinjuku Station South Exit bus stop (Busta Shinjuku) to Gracery hotel. This is a hotel with Godzilla Head as its landmark.

Hi there! I look up the website and it says there is a bus which stops at Royal Park Hotel Iconic Shiodome from Narita Airport. But not from Haneda Airport. So you can take a taxi or train or monorail. I don't know why they do not run a bus to Shiodome area🤔

Oh alright. My bus station will be Kinshicho station. So there's a counter or bus ticket vending machine at Kinshicho station I can buy the tickets to return to Haneda? Sorry for the obvious question. Just trying to make I don't get me and my family stranded 😅

@@mikeydudes No worries! From Kinshicho Sta, You don't even have to buy a ticket.! Just pay 1000yen to a bus driver or pay with IC card like Suica card if you have one.

Buses from Haneda Airport do not run 24 hours a day. There are few buses after 23:00, but there are late-night buses.

Sorry to bother you again. I logged on to the Japan Bus Online earlier and was disappointed to know that the express bus from Haneda to Kawaguchiko is only available from 3/12/23 to 1/1/24. I only arrive in Tokyo on 2/2/24 morning. Can you please help me check whether the bus is available on 2/2/2024 at 2.40pm? Much appreciated. 🙏

Hey there! I did some research and it turns out they only run on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Unfortunately 2/2/24 is friday. I think the best way to get to Kawaguchiko is going to Shinjuku from Haneda first, and then transfer to another bus or express train to Kawaguchiko. The bus and train from Shinjuku runs everyday. Happy to help anytime so let me know if you need more help.

Hi, appreciate your prompt reply very much. I was previously informed by another source that the express bus will run daily from 1/1/24 to 8/1/24 as it is vacation week in Japan. Is this not the case? Do I need to book in advance the bus tickets to Shinjuku, and then from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko? Thanks.

Hi! I think that info you gave me is not the case! You did not have to book a ticket to Shinjuku. You can buy it at counter or ticket vending machine. But I highly recommend to book in advance to Kawaguchiko.

If you are staying at APA Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower, please get off at the West Exit of Shinjuku Station. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the hotel.

Tipping is not customary in Japanese culture, so please don't tip!

Tipping is actually kind of insulting in Japan. It implies that the person you are giving money to has a menial job. The Japanese take pride in their occupations, so don't do it. Mostly it will just cause confusion and awkwardness.
