No you get the ads for having less than 1000 silver, and you can only watch the ads every 10 minutes. It won't show the ads if you have watched coins, keys, or battle ticket ads in the span of 3 minutes before this

hello! great question. let me explain... im guessing you did the assault by yourself, so the only valor points were generated by you. however, you can invite players to join your assault squad. so what im guessing is; these other clans filled their squads with lots of players. so, if they won, EACH player generated valor points, thus amounting loads of valor points. hope this helps bro! :)
