Donna, you always share your finds & ideas with us. Thank you. I've also used pieces of charcoal furniture drawers to kill the smell. Ceader chips work too. I've also used baking powder with the fabreeze dryer sheets. Actually, I use fabreeze dryer sheets in all of my dresser drawers, closets, my grandson's hockey bag, skates & any shoes. I've also saved the small silica packs found in prescription bottles to take orders away & sterilize. Just wanted to share with you too.😊

aw you're welcome, I've heard about charcoal but only ever used in a fish bowl filter many years ago. I didn't know they had this in sheets I missed that one. I have been saving those little packets from pill bottles too i thought they were for moisture? I want to use them to dry flower heads when i get enough, thanks for the tips ✨ ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna

@JunkJournalideas Those little silica packets in pill bottles can also be used to kill bacteria or any contamination on one's toothbrushes. Just make sure the toothbrushes are dry, then put a couple of bags of silica in a plastic baggie.

Craft room tour, please. Your room looks so neat from what I can see of it. I bought a stinky, smelly french reader book from the 1800s. Phew, did it stink. It took forever, but I got the smell out with Oxy clean odor blast.

Thanks for the great idea. I have a large plastic storage bin half filled with unscented cat litter. I place old paper, books, and magazines in it before I use them. It works, but it takes a long time to absorb odors. This will be a great addition to the arsenal for fighting the stench of old paper.

i love doing my crafty video's as much as you love watching them x. our property sign is Koolburra I got it made for my husbands 50th :) we have one dog 7 sheep and 4 chooks lots of wild birds and kangaroo's we've even had pelicans drop by and have a swim in the dam, that was a big surprise, and the country air is the best for sure!! we love it here ✨ ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna

Thank you for this tip! I bought some vintage lace and doilies that smelled musty, I used a dryer sheet in a plastic zip lock bag and it smelled much better. So your method is basically the same.

I'm not sure if dryer sheets are the same? this product has some science behind it and is designed to kill bacteria which causes the bad smells, the dryer sheets are designed as a scented softener hope that makes sense 😀 🦋hugs Donna

that's unusual, it's a smell that doesn't go well with paper, I have come across this in receipts and stuff from offices but not wrapping paper, I have my fingers crossed this will work for you this product has a science behind it so you have a high chance success ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna

I noticed that today when I dyed with a cheaper coffee that I have NEVER had before. I bought those little sachets of Nescafe from Cheap as Chips over here and never had an issue, until the change in the coffee. I will need to get some this week for those pages 🥰 A large zip lock bag will be more than large enough to take the copy paper, I think the 12x12 you might need to start saving the bags they come in lol

I was gifted some appliques a while back, I would say now ... 2 years and they have an awful smell to em and I tried one of those pouches that have good smelly stuff in it and it still stinks . Might have to try this

Yes Selina, give it another spray and let it dry again, let it dry and re-use it. I store the dry paper towel in a bag for next time, or keep it in my fabric box to keep it fresh, if it's dirty for any reason chuck it ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna

thanks for the tip :) what if i told you there was formaldehyde on apples, would you still eat it? claims that you can live a chemical free life are untrue, what we need to be concerned about is the amount of chemical we're exposed to. the amount of times a hobby crafter like us would use febreeze in massive and unrealistic amounts would be low. The toxic hysteria is real and is related to excessive amounts, but it's in our everyday life. Warning: if you find you dont like fragranced products maybe febreeze isn't for you. happy crafting ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
