I am so happy and privileged to find this channel. Why? I had same question in my mind for last two years and everytime I started learning to code I was always stuck on one point what to start and how to start. This young man has cleared doubts so perfectly that I can now peacefully start my journey. You can find coding tutorial on KZfaq on so many channels but no one will guide you on how to start your coding journey from scratch if you come from a non technical background. Here's what I remember from my class 9 computer science textbook: A computer runs on electricity and operates on voltage levels: 0 and 1. A program is a set of instructions to perform some tasks by the computer. The languages that are used to write a program are called programming languages. Programming languages can be categorized in three types. Machine level, assembly level, high level languages. Computers understand machine level languages and these languages use binary numbers (0 and 1) to communicate. Most people prefer high level languages. C programming (sometimes its called mid level language for a reason i will discuss in a min), Python, JavaScript and so on are a few examples of it. A compiler is what converts high level programming languages to machine level before execution. e.g, A C compiler removes the commented lines then it converts it to assembly level. It depends on the ISA of the processor. Then the assembly code is converted to machine level. A processor converts assembly code to machine code.

@@pn8746 well im not educated enough to explain that well but lets try. If we convert decimal value 5 to binary value, we get 0101. Computers don't need to do much to calculate numbers this way. Only a few wires and stuff can be used to get the sum of two binary values. We know that 5 + 5 is 10 Now how would a computer calculate that you may ask. They do it this way, 0101 0101 ____ 01010 and 01010 in decimal value is 10 You may learn more about binary addition, subtraction, etc online. There just 4 basic rules to do binary addition 0 + 0 = 0 0 + 1 = 1 1 + 0 = 1 1 + 1 = 10 so this is how a computer could calculate numbers and stuff. Now if you move your mouse, it will tell the OS or something else that you moved your mouse, it will give them the number and OS will tell the computer to calculate the numbers so that OS could display the next frame. I may be wrong at this point.
