The Natural Resources Conservation Service's "EQIP" is a cost share program that helps producers fund conservation practices on their own operations. EQIP is not a grant or a loan and you do not owe any money back to NRCS once the project is complete. Though there are still sometimes costs to producers, NRCS uses this program to provide both technical and financial assistance to implement conservation practices which may ultimately improve your economic sustainability.
