Is there a noticeable difference when cutting from PNG compared to SVG?

Love your video. I have a brand new SILHOUTTE Portrait 3 and am confused about lining up paper on mat to cut. So we should use the 8 1/2 x 11 line on mat even though the edge is not sticky? I notice the roller presses down on the paper and streaks the cut when I use that line on mat. Thank you!

Thank you. I have had mine in the box since last Thanksgiving with business edition because I do have my cricut maker and design space and I am used to it. Can I ask where you got the ice cream print and cut SVGs?
