@@theisaacola Good video. Please is the GTV only for the Tech nation? On the government website, I can see a wide range endorsement body for eg. British Academy of Humanities….please do we have a separate global talent visa for Tech nation and separate one for those in humanities? Kindly help me to understand please. Thank you.

Very helpful video. Thanks. Two questions please: 1. Does the recommendation has to come from the individual or from the company? Can we ask a person who is now not working at the company where we worked together? 2. Does the person have to be CxO level necessarily?

It has to come from the Individual, not the company. And the individual must write about how they know you, how long, your works and accomplishments and how you'd be of great value to the UK etc. Also, the person has to be a Senior Executive. All the best!

I’ve been getting my Documents ready for the Global Talent Visa Art and Culture Category since May, I’ve reached out to 3 organizations and they are ready to write me a recommendation letter but they all want me to draft the main skeleton of the letter so they fix the rest up. No, that would not count as a Recommendation Letter. Each of the 3 recommendation letters for the Global Talent visa must: - Be about your Global Talent application - you cannot use a letter that was written for another reason. - Explain how the author knows the applicant; and Knows the applicant’s achievements in the relevant field; and - How the author considers the applicant shows exceptional talent or promise; and the contribution the applicant would make to the UK digital economy.

What if the person recommendin doesn't have access to company letterhead paper? Or the personal must use a letterheaded paper by all means. More of my connections are not in managerial nor has access to letterheaded. Can LinkedIn letter suffice? Secondly can screenshot of network designed and network configuration be acceptable as a networking technician?

Best to use letterhead. However, in some cases, a personal one could suffice as well.

what are the kind of evidence that we need to produce in the 10 documents ? Can it be related to the work you have done within the Organisation like (projects that you have worked on) or is it something that needs to be published ? do we have to document these evidence in words ?

Yes, it can be related to the work you have done within organizations. It could also be publications, as much as you can put together really.

No, it's not a must that the three recommendations come from UK-based organizations. It could be from C-Suite executives of tech organizations in your home country. All the best!

Each person who writes a letter for you must: Be a senior member of their organisation Know your work Each letter must: Be about your Global Talent application - you cannot use a letter that was written for another reason Explain how the author knows the applicant; and Knows the applicant’s achievements in the relevant field; and How the author considers the applicant shows exceptional talent or promise; and the contribution the applicant would make to the UK digital economy. The letters must also: Be typed and dated Be up to 3 single sides of A4 paper, excluding the author’s credentials and contact details Be signed by the author, or by someone on behalf of the organisation recommending you Include a telephone number and email address, and the organisation’s logo and registered address, if applicable Come with the author’s CV (or other proof of their credentials that the endorsing body will accept)
