Haven’t gotten the cape yet so I can’t say much, but definitely a bug on Mojangs end. Make sure you are logged on to the same Microsoft account on bedrock that has the cape on java. If not contact mojang support

I actually got the 2019 Creeper founder’s cape in 2019 and had for a while, then it just disappeared in my cape menu on Bedrock Edition! I never got to use it again! 😆

@plushy33 Im pretty sure it isnt allowed to copy the skin file, because mojang has already branded the cape with there trademark, so it would be considered piracy

Each one has a different role out so you will eventually get it on win10

I have had Java since 2015 and windows 10 edition since 2014 or maybe 2015, yet I still don't have the cape. I hope I get it soon, as people can buy both versions of the game for around the same price of just one a year ago.

@@zwuwu Around that time, there was a version of Minecraft that would merge into Bedrock and be called windows 10 edition. It was in beta but I have to did pay for it.

you can log on either versions as long as you are on the same Microsoft account :)

I had Java edition in April of 2022 and got Bedrock edition for IOS back in 2017, for the mobile versions of the game, you don’t purchase it with a Microsoft account, you purchase it with a Google account or Apple ID, would I still be eligible for this?

I owned java since 2013 and bedrock on xbox since better together but got the windows 10 edition back in september 2019 from the free code my java account provided me with. both my mojang and microsoft accounts have changed emails over the years but i finally changed on both my mojang and microsoft account to the same email i stuck with this whole time since 2020. and i migrated my mojang account to the microsoft account i owned the windows 10 edition from. so the question is, am i eligible to get the vanilla cape? because i havent gotten it yet and im a bit worried as the 2 week mark will hit on the 14th.

I believe Microsoft/Mojang will eventually patch the custom cape method out of the game. I'm sure they're not a fan of people being able to customize their skins so much completely free of charge. They want people purchasing character creator items instead.
