How to get the Gunner Specialization in The Division 2: Year 1 pass holders will get this unlocked automatically but will still need to complete the 5 stages to unlock the other rewards. In this video I talk through each stage and advise on the easiest ways of completing them to unlock all of the rewards, and the Gunner Specialization for people who don't have the year 1 pass.

If you're having trouble with the Basilisk part, you can equip the demolitionist specialisation, play Roosevelt on normal, and empty your granade launcher on him. Kinda cheesy, but it worked for me.

Thanks. What a PITA that objective is. I usually kill him prematurely or get killed by the other enemies.

I haven’t tried yet but you could use a blinder firefly on the armor one and also try stunning with with flash bangs so it could give you some time to destroy the armor

Try 10th , this time with a rifle to not miss shots, boss still died before all armor broke.

This seems like a lot of messing around for the gunner specialist so before I even consider unlocking it is it worth it? I mean the technician is worth it for the 10% skill damage and the EMP grenades but what does the gunner give you?

The Bug with the Minigun-Station is still working. And I noticed that your Teammate can kill Basilisk too. It will count but only if u are the Group leader

Wow watching this video and having my gunner challenges on my tv right now they completely changed on how to complete stage 2 let me guess people were complaining they were 2 hard or a pain ?

If anyone still trying to unlock gunner tier 5. In challenging, I used a full skill riot foam build and then trained him like cod zombies. Hope this helps!

Great if it works but this mission for unlocking Gunner is still broken. In the 30 trys I did with friend we got it once but were denied the kill by the game but got the achievement from Ubisoft. Hitbox is horrible as even if you aim directly at armor piece it can be counted as a health hit instead.

I always kill that Basilisk guy on accident (PS4). What has removing armor from such a big guy who can kill you with two strokes to do with Gunner skill? Sounds more like SMG kill. Grrrr

I don't get it I killed Ridgeway with out taking any armor kits from the beginning to the end of the entire mission and it still will not unlock for me. I actually redid it 2 more times and still no.

I must have restarted my console and the game like 10 times not to mention the mission and the mounted kills don't register, neither do the heavy weapons.

How the hell do you kill 20 enemy’s mounted on Roosevelt Island??

Was looking for a guide for Stage 5 but every stage is slightly different now...? Stage 5; 1. Destroy all of Basilisks armour before defeating him. 2. Use mounted weapon to kill 20 enemies in Roosevelt Island. 3. Complete 5 Open World Activities 4. Defeat 20 enemies with an LMG. I'll test whether the mounted weapon cheese method works still and update this comment, as I'm about to do Roosevelt with a friend for the Daily Project👍🏻

But everytime i kill pulsed enemies it wont count! Do i need to keep the pulse as a skill? Because i change to the shield

No you have to kill them while they’re still highlighted, once the highlight goes away it won’t count.

Why is mine different than yours? Mine was just kill the dude, didn't have to shock him, and get 20 kills with a mounted gun. My second level is Kill someone else, didn't say anything about using a special ammo type on them, and kill 20 bleeding enemies.

Cant find an updated version anywhere, I am stuck on part where it asks for territory activities, I ve done CPs and the ones that lvl the CP lvl, nothing,probably a bug among the other 243453 bugs..

im having problems destroying his armor without killing it first ..using weak guns ....tried several times..he dies before all the pieces wears off :/ ,playing on challenging world 5

This can be tricky. I would save the helmet until last if this is not being done as a headshot will hurt him. You could run with a friend to also up the HP as it scales up and then he won't die as easily

Have to beat the main missions then strongholds. Then visit quarter master.

Roach isn't spawning? That's odd. If you've completed the first part of the campaign and the Black Tusks are in the game now, make sure you replay it NOT ON INVADED, play the normal version of it, since Roach is a Hyena Boss, not a Black Tusk boss

Why this game Ties in so much bullshit into accomplishing tasks is beyond my comprehension ? I guess their's players who like playing the same game for 6-8 months....I'm not one of those players !! IMHO: Another Big Waste of time is the Recalibration station !! UBISOFT just didn't know when to say when with The Division 2 !! Lol
