It's also character based.. not account. The character you want to use has to be that far along in the story to unlock the quest. Even if you have done it on a different character already

You can cheese the final boss. Before entering the boss room grab the 2 buffs and jump up to a ledge with a vex wall. You can shoot through the wall at the boss and grab the buffs when your timer runs out.

I cheesed the final boss solo, that ledge that cross landed on before dropping fully onto the two wells, you can shoot your guns through it and for some reason the boss aimed for the doorway instead of me directly. I didn't even notice the phalanxes were in there, or that destroying them would get rid of the spinning shields. Only thing that was getting me through the transparent wall were the detaining hydras. This was probably my first time soloing an exotic mission where i beat the final boss without dying (wish i could say the same for the rest of the mission)

I used a Winterbite Banner of War set up to solo it. It felt manageable and you could pick between Synthoceps or Wormgods and still do well.

For my solo players who don’t have metah gear. There’s a cheese spot for the final boss when you first drop in. After getting your buffs, on the left hand side there’s a ledge you can grapple onto. You can shoot through the vex screen, and personally I found that Aztecross’ stasis build works amazing there. For people who don’t have Wicked Implement. Any DOT weapon i.e. malfeasance, la monarque, or Tommy’s Matchbook work great for sitting in that spot. Solar works great as well. Radiance helps you bypass the Hydras shield since they’ll still be up.

The story that came with this hit me in the feels, Damn shame that one of the good Ahamkara perished in selfless sacrifice but hopefully that means hope for Riven's uncorrupted clutch.

I don't think Legend difficulty will be the catalyst. I think that will be to get high roll gear. I found a handful of out-of-the-way places with enemies that could not be damaged or, in one case, reached.

I didn't even realize you had to kill the phalanxes when I cleared it. I guess I just got really lucky and killed them all in order without realizing for both encounters.

The story of the mission and the bow itself very cool and nice. With titan and hunters having good suspend builds this would be a cool weapon to use to help suspend more but it’s really cool how the traps work and we can upgrade them later on to last longer or ensnare longer it also has hatchling but depending on the snare buffs it might not be the pick

You can cheese the last boss if you jump up where the 2 sensors are, your gun sticks through the barrier so you don’t have to keep going in and out while getting nailed in the back

In my opinion, this bow is not only Unique, but it's also very useful in alot of content that doesn't involve overall boss dps. It's a good weapon to have. A Strand anarchy-like bow. Probably gonna be annoying in crucible creating choke points and suspend traps everywhere (I reckon guardian precision damage/kills give you more stacks)

Before heading into the next to last area’s path, there is a Dam’s area you can run into to the right. But there is no Dam’s pool to step in. You get the “unwelcome debuff” and presumably die.

I can already see it. Strand Hunters with Oath Keepers are going to pop off like crazy. Soon as they get enough kills to fully charge Wish Keeper's traps, all they'll have to do is hold the trigger and wait

Just thought I’d mention it again, catalysts are time gated. It even says so when you hover over a catalyst at the enclave. You can’t get it through legend right now. At least they tell you

No you can't join someone who is on the. Exotic mission. It said "You don't have permission to access this mission" right after excepting the FT invite.

Lol, it's kind of sad. People that don't understand things, should not make guides on them, or outdated guides with outdated footage in some other cases. It's ok to say you don't know but to act like you do and spread misinformation for views is pretty lame. I mean you can figure this particular thing out pretty easily. Also, It's worth noting that you can step in either pool to renew the combined buff before it runs out, but if it does run out you'll need to grab the orange buff first to not be slowed and poisoned to make it through to even grab the other one.

to answer the question: no. your own quest has to be progressed far enough to actually even launch the activity or join someone who is already in the activity.

This mission was HARROWING to do solo 😂😂 I'm probably just garbage, but I barely managed to skid by and get to the last encounter lol. I wish Fireteam Finder worked in a way that people can join you at Rally Banners or mission checkpoints, because I had to restart from the beginning with Fireteam Finder to finally clear it. I was ready to pull my hair out, I'm definitely not a meta gamer 😅😅😅😅 With teammates though, this mission is WAY easier

What character u play? Cuz for titan I ran path of burning steps with the kings fall hand canon that has incandescent and explosive with the artifact perks that let head shots make me radiant and radiant burns. And when I stack up to x4 I just fire dragons breathe and scatter signal with sever and control burst to add dps. I did it on normal on legend I prolly will run the banner of war build or just go suspend titan since the exotic pairs well with suspend builds.

@@goatedknowledge6180 for normal I went wormgod strand but on legend I used loreley titan because of safety, the wyverns hurt a lot up close so I just stayed back and use dbreath, only issue was the lack of rally banners before last boss

There are a lot of void shields on legend so I used a void handcannon, I lose the artifact perks but it was just easier since the matching shield element pops all nearby void shields and usually kills them as well, on the last boss I changed to arc handcannon for the flying harpies, the matching element again just pops all the shields and almost kills them. I didn't use the cheese because I didn't know there was one at the time, did it on reset

Cuz the perks I like is suspending being longer. Cuz I think stack with the fragments that make suspend last longer and having multiple enemies just suspended is really amazing. I like the bow a lot, I am defensive player anyway so being able to play back and suspend and chip away to victory fits my style.

@@FlashesSoccer011 how? It’s a bow that suspend enemies…. Especially with the right fragments and artifact mods u can debuff and stun enemies and using a good heavy and just dps em. On titan even boost the damage off rip thanks to the old suspend builds and u get insta woven mail. And it gets a damage boost with targets suspended. when the catalyst drops that allows to have vorpal. With vorpal and its boost u get 70-80% more damage just by suspending an enemy.

Instead if jumping through all of those hoops you mentioned just to make the weapon work, I can just use wishender and kill whatever I am fighting. This bow also suffers from being a craftable exotic. They need to stop with these. They all suck, and it'd just a lazy approach. The catslyst is just "what perk do you use". I can't stand it.

@@FlashesSoccer011 u think it’s jumping through hoops? 🤣🤣 throwing a shackle grenade to automatically get a damage buff isn’t jumping through hoops 😭. Especially if u are suspend titan.. ya barricade also suspend enemies. U literally gonna have a buff just by playing ya build. Then kills gives 2 stacks so killing 3 ads allows u to have full stack and u set a suspend trap and continue to get the stacks. And with the catalyst u can make the trap bigger, make suspend last even longer or do extra damage to champions. Idk if u using it to dps bosses kill 3 adds suspend anything that’s a major swap to my heavy fire off shots by the time suspend comes down I use shackle or my barricade and continue. And thanks to the buff it gets to suspended targets I can chip away and conserve ammo. And then if u have the right fragments u have A fragment that allows the sever debuff if u land multiple precision shots. So not only are u suspending them but u are also debuffing them It’s not a crazy dps machine but it’s a great weapon to have. I personally like suspending and playing defensive like banner of war is way better but I am not an aggro style player so them reviving suspend builds really helps.

You cannot join someone else’s star crossed mission, you will get a pop up saying “ you do not have access to this mission “, but this only happens if you don’t catch up with the story.

Did you stay in the room with the boss or outside? There are windows you can shoot out of to deal damage. Only the Harpies are a danger but they aren't an issue to deal with.

took me about an hour or so on solo on a norm difficulty with solar titan. the slice perk does wonders. just went lazy and just witherhoard the three encounters and chucked my hammer all over the place and just used Dragon's breath for constant ignition damage against the boss. Honestly really not too bad

If you don't kill the Phalanxs quickly enough to drop the second barrier, they will respawn. Do they all have to be dead simultaneously, or can they respawn with no hindrance to your progress?
