The struggle to find that protein/ moisture balance is way too real. I'm HiPo & its like I'm either overloading or protein or going into Hydral fatigue. Whenever it is balanced it's like, ok what did I do to even get here lol. And I even keep a hair journal to keep track of what I do & still haven't figured it out. But I'm gonna keep trying. So help me God lol.

Hi Leila. The leave in and the curl definer have been a staple of mine for more than three years now, and they are the first product that gave me a glimps of what my true curl pattern looks like; before I thought I had none. They left my hair feeling silky soft and defined, but sad to say those are the only two products that I have ever used from the line. I thing it's about time I try the others. Sisssssss I thought you knew about this line!! Listen the very first time I used this I was amazed and how well my curls were actually curling!! The left side of my hair is fairly looser than my right side. But when I say that it curled soooo well! I was like you guys can curl like this?!?! I love love love love love this line!!! The texture treatment is amazing I finished an entire container in a month. I never purchased again, but that’s because I’m trying a Ayurvedic approach with my hair this year. However, I highly recommend.

I bought this prior to this video but after your review I couldn’t wait to try it!! Unfortunately my hair felt like straw and I had to use the Shea hibiscus treatment to make it soft again. This was surprising to me because I have used the two step protein treatment several times in the past. Wish I could return it.

if anyone has used the aphogee 2 step treatment, the balancing moisturiser (2nd step) is actually an elasticity treatment similar the the curlific texture treatment (and you get more for the same price imo) It's been a staple for me for almost a year now!

That balancing moisturizer in conjunction with my regular deep conditioner alwyas has my hair super soft after wash day

Mira L it's a mixture of moisture and a bit of protein so it's fine to use on its own to maintain the mositure/protein balance in your hair. I usually use it after I do my ayurvedic treatments/herbal deep conditioners because it gives amazing slip for detangling and helps to remove the powders from my hair.
