Yes they are different. But when you take through registered official platform they help you with each application. My EID and Visa is valid for 2yrs and Freelance license is valid for 1yr. They need to be renewed accordingly.

you can work only for the activity that you have mentioned in your application. you can't take a freelance visa from twofour54 and then work for some other company full time in a completely different field. That's against the rule.

What about opening bank account for a freelancer and receiving online payment via merchants? Banks make your life difficult even if your have a registered freezone company, they won't open account that easily and ask you about every transaction.. so how difficult will it be to open a bank account with freelancer license?

Web development I don't know much. And that's the thing even the authorities want to know from you. Like how are you going to find the projects ? If you have done research ? How are you going to manage your finances? You have to answer these questions first.

Did you get your certificates attested by UAE govt? Maybe that's what I mean. But I am just guessing.

@@BhupendarSingh my certificate was attested. I received license last weak. My advice is for all please don't Wait for customer support call and chat for any updates. , if you receive any error message : "trade name assign already" in the portal. Make a letter with suggested 3 names and upload to portal.after uploads no updates better go to directly there office they will finalize and approve same day. Keep hard copy all copy of the letter and attested certificate.

I am working for a company as a offshore resource (will be considered as working from India). I can continue that job from India as well.
