I would personally take out your SIM in your phone, download VPN - connect to US and then log in to new account on phone and change everything there. I also had few people saying that their account was shadowbanned after few days. On the other hand, there are people who say it works for them great so I am not 100% sure what exactly is the cause of shadowbans

The main problem with US sim card I had was that I could only find a “travel sim” which expired after 2 weeks and it was pretty expensive. But I guess you only need it to create an account so I guess it’s not that big of an issue. I bought lebara sim card

If that was true, wouldn’t they do the same when we’re just travelling? I once bought US sim card (travel sim card) from Amazon, created an account and then started using it on my regular phone with UK number and it was fine - didn’t have any issues - but that’s only my experience so I can’t tell you this is what will happen to you - but I do think it’s worth to try - alternatively you could take your sim off and only use WIFI when uploading videos

@@jakubwieckowski Hmm, well I got a US sim card, but on my burner phone and everything works fine. But the phones quality is really bad, thought about swapping sims with my main phone, but dont want it to get banned since I'll be using my main sim on it to.

since you did everything correctly, maybe it was a "one off fluke" ? Have you tried uploading more videos to see if it recovers? Maybe it is a shadow ban, but it's very hard to say to be honest

I am not sure about that to be honest - I once had UK & US account on my phone and both were working without any problems - but it's worth to say that I did not go viral, but I did get couple of thousands of views on each account - so I feel like it could work. But maybe to be safe, keep your US account on laptop only and see how that goes :)

I hear using VPN will make you tik tok account get shadowbanned,. Im not sure, just found this topic on reddit and alot of people talk about using VPN will make your account get shadowbanned. So can you tell us how long you using tik tok based account with VPN ? is its safe ? if so, how long have you use you tik tok based account.
