Yeah can tape off the whole area accept wear the crest is lifting and try using 3m super77 spray adhesive then heat pressing it on (a iron on high and t-shirt if no heat press) You can also bring it to any tailor and ask them to zig zag stitch it on around the edges. Worse case try some fabric glue and see how it holds up

So did I lol. But I can tell you ironing and steaming it worked like a charm brand new . Girl bought me a custom sabres for Xmas and bent the numbers sitting in the truck

If you're in the States Costco has them and they tend to go on sale

The exact temperature I'm unsure, but it's the highest setting. For the name you can give it a try with no steam. I recommend having it sewn down if it's peeling

Hey man! I never tried that. I would test it first at very low heat. If it holds work your way up. My only concern would be the coating from the paper might transfer to the jersey.

It can but you have to start with the lowest heat and work your way up. Try getting transfer paper if possible. You can all try parchment paper

A steamer might. I would recommend a iron with steam capability. If the glue wore off on the crest and it's not stitched down you might have to get some adhesive and heat press it down and then preferably have it stitched. But if it's just rolled up on the edges of you should be fine with the iron and the technique in the video. Always use a shirt or cloth. Start with low heat and work your way up

Great question. For the most part the iron worked significantly better. However, in one or two situations the steamer worked better. I say test it out. Make sure not to touch the head of the steamer directly to the steamer. Start with lower steam and build up. If the steamer doesn't work transition over to a iron. @@hockeylife8181 if the jersey is hanging you don't need the cardboard and shirt. If it's flat and are using the steamer as a iron I recommend the cardboard for sure and the shirt depending on the steamer head

Thanks for watching and for the feedback! Honestly in theory it should work but in reality I don't think it would make a great difference. I had numbers and crests firm up just from ironing after a few tries. I recommend to try it on a jersey you could part with in a worse case scenario. Another thing would be to iron it flat then try to spray it to prevent it from getting flimsy again. Hope that helps and let me know how it goes!

@@roberthulme8798 Hey Sorry for the late reply. So here two methods that had decent success with. 1- try stretching out the wrinkles while it's submerged under water 2. Try a handheld steamer. Start with low steam and work your way up. Depending on the steamer, try to avoid touching the crest directly with the steamer head. Hope that helps. I'll do a video on those two at some point.
