I am looking into a uxui boot camp and narrowed it down to Springboard, Designlab and Avocademy due to affordability. Does anyone have any negative critiques that could help eliminate a program? I learned the music production, graphic design and professional photography on my own, but made many mistakes along the way, hence, my interest in a program.

@@talanceastevenson8730 I'm leaning towards Avocademy because it's price point and because I have an MBA in Business, but I'm also reluctant because it's a newer program and there is not enough information online about it. Is your mentor industry knowledgeable? How many real business portfolios will you have upon project completion? Anything else you'd like to add would be helpful

@@angelcamus393 well there is two programs if you take the foundations you will have one project on your portfolio , I also took designlab but I left and joined Avocademy, mentors are nice some of them are past students, I’ll tell you more in a few when I wake all the way up lol

I appreciate what you said in the end, "...if you can improve a little bit in design every single day, then there is no way you cannot find a design role". Very motivating. Loved this video! New to your channel and I'm already hooked. I'm currently in a UX design bootcamp and the ocean of new designers is quite overwhelming, that worries me for when I will need to job hunt.

you know, there’s so many videos and guides online that tell you how to become and to get a job but you’re the only one i trust, it’s like your energy is sincere and you truly want to help people step their foot in this career. thank you for that. i’m in an 1 year bootcamp (ends in october), i’m in some slacks but i haven’t worked in real life projects YET and haven’t really started networking. i predict i’ll start applying around may and june maybe? just diving in haha i’m just waiting for when i feel confident with my skills because i’ve never worked in my life and i know the anxiety would kick in if i’m not prepared lmao ok long text. thank you thank you for this video you’re an angel 🥺 as a question: do you feel more comfortable doing ux or ui?

This is so precious! Thanks for this content, Aliena! I'm on my way on becoming a UX Designer developing my first case to my portfolio, and sometimes I tend to lose hope due to this huge amount of requirements and pressure that falls on the beginners. I wanted to ask you if with just one project I have real chances. If that is the case, how to manage it to work as my "showcase"?

First of all, thank you so much for your comment and support! With your question, I suggest that you can apply to things while working on maybe another case study (it can be a 1 week case study that redesigns a feature of a popular app. Check one this video for example: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oq6BkpOQ0afIhGQ.html I understand that it could be very difficult fo motivate yourself through the process. Don’t give up! Hope this helps 😁
