How to get your Budgie to eat Fruits and Vegetables? Simple? Even for Stubborn Budgie who does not like to eat Vegetables and Fruits? In this video, your Budgie will adore eating veggies and fruits.
Budgies can eat bananas, they love to eat strawberries, apples are their favorite, grapes, oranges, peaches, blueberry, pear, raisins, mango, melon, nectarines, cherries, and kiwis.
For Vegetables, they love romaine lettuce at least my Budgies, spinach, carrot, sweet potato, broccoli, squash, dandelion leaves, and sprouted seeds.

Make sure that you clean it with vinegar water mix and rinse really well. Brocolli get's sprayed too. I prefer to give my budgies chickweed from somewhere where I know wasn't sprayed, like my yard.

My four budgies will only eat the green ones. As far as I know (as a human) red or yellow makes no difference.

@@wessew6185 they also like crackers. When I got the birds the pet shop said they were a pair, however they are both males. I had them for one year. I don't know if I can separate them and get a female for each one.

My two budgie boys are obsessed with peas sprouts :D every morning yelling at me as they are eager to get their beaks into them. For some reason not one of them is interested in strawberries O.o another veggie they like are young carrots - both for eating and shredding them for fun - even though it leaves their beaks orange :D baby spinach and broccoli are also accepted.

Slowly start introducing your hand around the cage once she’s comfortable with it put you hand in the cage and keep still Darby day get closer then start feeding her millit or any other treat from you hand then ask her to step up and signal your finger with the treat when she does give her the treat and cheer for her like say good bird! Lastly start getting her onto a Pearce by saying step up then slowly while feeding her a treat bring her out make sure not to force her and do it when she’s ready Hope this helps it’s how I got my birds outside Also speed a lot of time around her and talk to her in a sweet voice

My budgies hate anything sweet, i randomly keep putting fruits, but they hate it. They only eat green veggies. They are very finicky and even veggies they are picky with, but i keep trying different things. They love kale and any kind of lettuce, and spinach. Ty ✌️

Hi, I don't often ask for help in youtube comments but I need some. My budgies are comfortable being held on both perches and my fingers and they don't mind being pet, but they refuse to leave the cage. I got them from a pet store, and I think the experience of seeing other birds yanked out of enclosures and being sold made them scared of it. How can I get them out? They don't fall for just leaving treats at the cage door. Thanks in advance!

I tried to give both of my budgies fruit because they never ate any fruit in their life so when I put my hand inside the cage the first one was scared and flew outside the cage second one bite my hand he thought I was gonna let him bath because he felt the water lol 😂

I tried quite a few of these ideas already and my budgies will only eat lettuce and dandelion leafs :D I got them to try grapes once but they wont touch carrots in any shape or anything else I've offered them xD but I will keep trying!

Hey! I love your videos and just recently got my first budgie yesterday, he seems to be sitting with his eyes shut a lot and seems to sleep when I’m gone; this morning I found him on the bottom of his cage after he chirped a bit and I woke up Is he sick or just a nervous tired bird? I got my budgies from a home that only gave them seeds, they were not tame at all. One of them is slightly "tame" the other still makes a complete ruckus. So far I haven't been able to get them to try anything of fruits and vegetables. I hope these tricks (except for the one where you feed them by hand) will help.

Grains and other assorted seeds are fine, but make sure they also have cuttlefish bone to chew on to sharpen their beaks 😀

I have 9 budgies. They have a whole room to themselves. They only go in the cage at night. I have offered them Strawberries, melon, apples, banana, lettuce, dandelion greens and they won't eat any of those things. How do I get them to eat them? I have a very busy work schedule but spend as much time as I can but they won't sit on my finger or shoulder. They come down close but even if I have millet in my hand they won't come to me.😪
