I've been posting videos for almost 2 years now, and there have been times when I didn't post anything for 3 months. From what I've understood so far, I can say this: trust in your content, my friends, and maintain consistency. I believe that the rest will come naturally in the end. Who else thinks this way? Great video, I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. Otherwise, you are going to be far behind everyone else, and eventually quit. Even though I am not beginner anymore, I know how hard it could be (and if I haven't used a lot of Famester, I would have quit my journey a long time ago as well). It made everything much more easier, especially getting over subs and views requirements to get monetized.

You touched upon it... and I had a conversation with YT a few weeks ago. What matters is the META data. What is that? It's a combination of the title, description, tags, what classification you give the video (for example depictions of violence if it is a war history video) AND the thumbnail. These I believe are being looked at both by human and AI on their end. I also believe that if anyone submits a complaint it will equally affect the channel because a person will then look at the META data manually and decide to demonetize or throttle back the content (and yes they do that through various ways like simply not letting it get out to similar viewers). So it is the META data. Tags may only play a small part, but it is important what your title says and what description you have.

The outro tip was amazing, I didn't know it affects the algorithm. I've seen the retention drop from 60-70 to 20% real fast but I didn't think it matters muchxD

hello, I started my channel in 2017 and was uploading videos too and now shorts, despite uploading for a whole year and most of my shorts having AVD more than 80 percent, not getting discovered its barely noticed by people, I don't know where I am stuck can u help me figure out that please.

Ive found one of the hardest things so far is getting stuck into video habits even though you can see it isnt making much progress from the channel. I myself have only just managed to force myself to change things up after a few months of knowing i needed to, but not being able to. Now going to focus on the few things that were doing well, experiment with some other stuff and really try focus on my CTR and retention on the videos that i am now trying.

We've asked before but... we have no problem getting views it seems, we have 165K views and10K viewing hours now. We're gaining around 26K views/ 1.5K hours per 28 days. Looking at return vs new veiwers it's clear we have more new viewers than return veiwers, and more return viewers than subscribers. Same with new videos we relaease, we get a lot more views in the first few days than we have subscribers and a lot of our return viewers watch those videos. So the views analytics look OK, But what we don't get is many subscribers (around 650 in 8 months since launch) or anything much in the way of feedback (likes/dislikes/comments). There are plenty advice videos about getting more views but that is not our problem. Ours appears to be that viewers love our content but will not interact with us. It seems that no KZfaq gurus advise on this problem. Is it so unusual or hard to solve?

I'm very curious about how I can apply this knowledge to a music channel. I almost didn't find anything related to that. Because the title will be the name of the song, and the thumbnail is something that cannot be more than the artwork itself. I would really appreciate if you have some advice regarding how to grow a channel like this. Thank you very much.

I’ve been choosing one of the three that KZfaq suggests. The only one that was really good was when the boss was chosen.

Imagine you're an avid fisherman casting your line into the river. Each video you post on KZfaq is like adding another fishing rod to the water - more opportunities to attract viewers are similar to having multiple lines in the river. Just as additional rods increase your chances of catching more fish, regularly posting videos can enhance your visibility, drawing in a larger audience and increasing your chances of reeling in more views and subscribers.

I tried shorts 3 times, I didn't like the process I don't watch tiktok or shorts on here I prefer longer form content. Not sure if I'll try shorts again, one thing I'm definitely doing from now on though is making my content tighter no more faff that doesn't need to be in there, I want to keep my vids short and sharp from now on. The community tab suggestion is good I like the idea I did a few community posts a while ago and the community ignored me haha might be a hint there. Keep at it creators no surrender.

This related shorts can be really powerful. An idea many creators aren't really talking about is using the related feature to do affiliae marketing. Link the short to an unlisted video showing off a product or service, niche related of course, and getting tons of clicks on your affiliate links. All you would have to worry about is making a short go viral. Im currently trying this out and I have everything in place except the viral short. But Im still working on that.

Long time viewer, first time commentor. Great video as always. But if you're taking suggestions for video ideas, I would like to suggest something about the contrast between the likes of gaming channels who can upload lots of videos every week, and other types of channels (animation, travel, ect) that can take maybe two weeks to a month to just produce one video. That's the issue I'm thinking about at the moment with my own channel. Recently, I've been doing one video a month, but I'm going to be bumping that up to two a month this year. My problem is, because of the nature of my channel, my videos take quite a while to produce; pick a historical site to visit, go there and record (normally for over half an hour), write a script (which is basically a history paper), edit, make thumbnails, ect. I'm worried that it may have an effect on the growth of my channel, especially in the beginning if viewers are not willing to wait around for two weeks at a time to watch my videos, especially if they aren't that familiar with my channel. I apologies for the long message, but if you could heart so I know you've seen it, I would really appreciate it. Always enjoy the content and I'm looking forward to the next one :)

Where and how to upload, those 2 thumbnails???

My shorts are clips from lives and I link it to the live as an escape button for the tik tok brain. I'm going to start releasing these shorts while I'm live and title them "I'm live" and try link to the stream I'm doing to get more viewers live. Before the stream ends I will change titles and link them to the live they came from. My overlay is a different picture each stream so it's like a tag to show me where the short came from lmao. If this helps I will let you know😂
