My cats are good with vet feeding pills and when they are home they won't even sit and all of a sudden they become mma fighters. Ps: I haven't been able to feed one pill without brawling and I got 3 of them 😂

Yep, my cat too, because she gets scared as hell at the vet so she's not combative at all. At home though...

lol same here, last time I tried that there was a lot of blood involved xD also even when the pill is in her mouth she then spits it, I am now afraid to give my cat medicine xD

After the 30th try and wrapping him in a towel it finally worked. Got the battle scars as well as a nice memory

The water! This is genius and obvious at the same time! How did I not figure that out for myself?! We had to pill our cat on two occasions and she would manage to get the pill out every other time because the pill is dry and you know how cat's tongue is. And I was completely dumbfounded, like "duh I wish there was a way around it" 🤦‍♂️

I have to pill my cat tomorrow but never thought of the water. That might work. The first time I tried .. took me about 15 times. I was so frustrated. Finally got it down her. Omg. Not easy 🥺

@@aBitTedious hi! Do you mean if it's fine not to give the cat water? Not sure, but I guess it's fine as long as you're sure it went down. My cat is fine now but she didn't like this method, so I covered her pill in wet food then rolled it on crushed kibble like a DIY pill pocket. She took it better.

@@sunshineboo I ended up doing it just like the video and it was way less traumatic than I thought it would be 😅. We both handled it like pros and I'm very grateful. What you mentioned was going to be my backup method for sure if it didn't work out.

I had to coat the pill in a high calorie vitamin paste so my kitten wouldn't spit it out. 😂

My vet said to hide it in cream cheese, butter, that didn't work. This made it so EASY! The syringe with water is key!

We have a neurotic cat that loves to be petted but if you try to do any kind of restraining or touch her mouth she will fight…tooth and nail. We wrap her in a blanket or towel and she rips right through it. You would never believe what that six and a half pound cat can do. She is extremely strong for her size and age (14).

I tried, they closed their mouth shut, successful with one of them, but for the other she's an expert and spitting it out and making saliva bubbles, we'll try it again tomorrow 😂

I watched the video before giving my cat his medication to learn how to do it. Took the pill, hold it in front of him and he just ate it. Guess i was overthinking.

my baby would spit the pill out together with foams all over her mouth..i was freaked out at first but then the vet told me it just her reaction towards the pill,,probably because she hates the bitter taste of it lolll ..
