How to give an effective toolbox talk - How to get toolbox talks right and not suck!
The dreaded toolbox talk! Whether you are a safety professional conducting a toolbox talk, a safety talk or quick presentation the task is often dreaded by those delivering the toolbox talk or those on the receiving end. Even if you are not a "safety professional" and you have been asked (or conscripted) to give a toolbox talk or safety speech having a few hints of advice, tips to ponder or just simply a good roadmap to delivering a toolbox talk helps.
In this video, which is basically a video toolbox talk, I will provide a few pointers that I have used to deliver relevant, useful and effective toolbox talks and safety presentations.

There are lots of toolbox talk topic videos, hopefully this video helps the viewer pick a relevant topic and then deliver it in a way that will actually be received.

Rehearsing is excellent advise. I have started rehearsing my training programs , along with toolbox talks, and it has helped dramatically.
