Heyy - shapper & glasser here for Abstractsurfboards in California. You probably may have seen this by now but I've learned that if you have REALLY stubborn air pockets coming from your channels you can get a razor you would use for cutlaps and just make a thin slice in those bubbles followed by a little dab of resin and working in with your fingers. It helps alleviate the air and makes life so much easier especially when catalyzing with MEKP and on a finite time limit. I'll even do this with any weird stubborn bubbles especially those that form on your cutlap lines.

Nice job man! Shaping a board is one thing but glassing can be a whole other beast. Keep up the good work!! Looks like a great board.

Thank you 🙏🏽 Glassing is definitely a whole other beast! So many steps involved (just like shaping) and so easy to screw up. Still learning to perfect the process (if that’s even possible 🤷🏻‍♂️)!

Would love to see the design for your shaping rack I saw in another vid you slot shaping or glassing tops onto the base, looks so simple and functional for a one space shaper..

Hey! Yeah I can do a quick video on it! I know you inquired about it previously (?). I currently have been trying to modify it so it’s a little different than before. I have some complaints about it too, which I will put in the video too!
