I've been working on a project that needed glitter. Lots of trial and error with 5 different adhesives/sealers and a variety of glitter. Everything in this tutorial would work fine. I recommend adding a step of sanding down the shoe surfaces a bit so it's a bit rougher before adding glue and glitter. It helps the adhesive bond better so you decrease the risk of having a film of glitter separate from the shoe over time. One important step to add is sealing the glitter. Mod Podge (glossy) will work well. You can either stir more glitter into it, or just brush it on as-is. It creates an extra layer that prevents glitter from flaking off so you can wear those shoes without making enemies.

Did a good job bro. I did a pair of my daughters 14s last year and they held up pretty much all school year. Mod podge is glue i used with just some fine glitter. 👍👍

There's so many ways of doing it I use a clear glue leather adhesive and spray glue and use mod podge and a splash of water for sealent

yo I loved this custom I have a pair of tuxedo 11 lows tht were messed up so I did them in a matte black but every time I look at them I feel like they are missing something i think this might be it! , can you tell me what glue you used and what kind/color glitter you used on the upper cause I think tht glitter would be dope as hell , can I get your opinion too do you think I should do tht glitter just on the paten leather or the whole shoe?

Depends on what you are going for. If you want BLING BLING, go with glue and fine glitter. If you want just a touch of sparkle go with the glitterlites

You can try a mix of water, Mod Podge(think that's spelled right) and the same color glitter your covering. It'll seal up tight, no flaking and still stay glittering. 2 coats and you good. Good luck

Tevon Freeman depending on what you're doing, I did a practice test on my old work boots. You can use the spay E6000 for one color for the whole shoe (make sure you tape off what you don't want to get glue one). or you can use modge podge, just mix a little water with it. hope this helps you.

Pretty much every piece I build out of foam gets a coating of this before paint. I mix black paint right in and it acts as my black basecoat and has a sealer and hardener. It makes foam significantly harder, and it is thin enough that it seeps into all the little cracks and crevices of a piece cementing everything together. In my opinion Mod Podge is significantly better at coating styrofoam than watered down pva glue. Some believe that Mod Podge is just repackaged pva glue. This is not true. While it has a PVA base it is specifically formulated with an additional water based resin that allows it to dry harder, faster, and clearer and has a flow aid making it easier to apply thin coats.

The big ? Is for everyone trying to glitter their kicks is WHAT TYPE OF GLUE/ADHESIVE I NEED TO STICK THE GLUE ON ??????? I might just have to do my own little trial and error
