Sometimes you need to repair a large wooden surface, but normal clamps aren't big enough. If you are repairing a crack in wooden furniture, then you would normally glue and G-clamp (or C-clamp, spreader clamp or quick action clamp, whatever you want to call them) the piece in position. Unfortunately all these clamps are fairly small in size, which is a problem when you have a large piece of furniture that needs fixing.
