Want to know how to make your wig stay on ALL DAY LONG? This is how I glue down my wigs with the Got2B Glued Styling Hold Gel. It's one of my favourites to use when gluing down my wigs because it comes off so easily with water! I can take it off at night when I come home from a long day at work, and I don't have to worry about pulling out my edges... LOL.... there's nothing worse than wanting you wig off NOW (because you're going to sleep) and the adhesive you used won't come off (been there, done that)
You're either then going to sleep in your wig, OR you're going to be tugging at it, and risk pulling out your bio hair underneath. With the Got2B glue, I avoid all these unnecessary headaches. Hope you enjoy =) HAPPY WIGGING!!

Hi Steph, doesn't the oil on your head affect your wig on the inside where it's receiving the oil? Also, I drive a Vespa in my small, walkable city- so it's a constant putting on and taking off my helmet often three-four times a day. Now that I've bought wig/body glue, I 'm sure it will help.There was only one video of how to wear a wig under one's helmet. It looks like I'd need to also cover my wig in a scarf before putting on my helmet. If you ever run out of topics for a video- I think you'll get a lot of hits- like I said, no one is resolving this challenge. Thanks! Meli Congrats on your baby girl!

Hello! =D No, I don't find the oil affects my wig on the inside at all. I've gotten questions about this before, but I've been doing it for years because my own hair is SO dry, and I haven't noticed anything negative about it. If anything, I prefer the feeling of my hair in coconut oil underneath my wig because I feel as though my hair is protected and moisturized, AND my wig doesn't itch me as much when I do it this way. I've been thinking about how I could create a video to help you with your helmet/wig questions. If only I could barrow somebodys Vespa!! LOL! Any ideas on what you'd like that video to look like? I could just sit down and talk - addressing your questions - but I want to show you too... Perhaps I could create a video, and bring a helmet into the video and show you what I would do if wearing a wig and a helmet. What do you think? I'm open to suggestions :) Also, can I ask what wig you have currently? Like what does the cap construction look like? Are there ear tabs or silicone tabs? Thank you!!!

Hi Steph, that would be a lively video with you outdoors on a Vespa! But, yes, I think you could do this right in your studio with a helmet. Yes, put it on, take it off. I may have to do this 4 times a day- which is why I sometimes walk into establishments with my half-shell helmet because you can lift up the visor and chat with people. I'd love to see this demonstration. I have an inexpensive Amazon wig, but my dream is to have one of the ones that are around $500. Take care of yourself, hubby and baby! Meli @@WigsWithSteph

I have great success with Got 2 B Hairspray. I lift my wig a little and spray heavily underneath and press down. I think you could spray it heavily before applying your wig.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. Have you ever tried other products? I saw a spray that is in a gold bottle that says sensitive and also a black bottle version. Another person said they esp the black one acts like a glue and melt in one. I'm very interested in the glueless so I need to look that up on your channel as I shower many times a day- with a cap. But only wear hair currently occasionally. I'm so excited I ordered my first lace front wig after years of a Jewish type topper.

be really careful with this on your edges. I use to use got2b on my edges and my hair stopped growing. I only use a little now for my wigs and only on my forehead

Yes! I love the got2b spray too!! it's super easy to apply. Just spray the hairline first and then apply your wig =) I don't always put my makeup on after, but decided to do it this way today =)

Hi 😊 I've never worn a wig before, but I'm getting close! I was just wondering about the glue - I tend to sweat a lot (even in winter), so I feel that water soluble wouldn't be a good solution for me. But I don't want something that will require harsh chemicals (sensitive skin) or damage the wig when removing. Would the spray be a better option for me? Also, I don't often wear makeup, so I'm wondering if the lace front looks weird without any makeup? Or if you have any tips for camouflaging the edge?

Thank you for your videos. I really enjoy them. I am wondering how easy it is to remove your glued on wig. Does it pull on your natural hair?

It's super easy to remove this Got2B glue. It simply comes off with water, so you could hop in the shower, wet your hair and it will slide off. OR, you could wet a wash cloth and dab it on the hairline and the wig will slide off. I found it doesn't pull on your natural hair as long as you've wet it down before attempting to pull it off. And if you feel a slight tug on your own hair when attempting to take your wig off, just re-apply some water on that spot, and your wig will loosen and slide right off! =)

Hello! ❤️❤️❤️ Yes, absolutely you can spray it down and wear it glueless! I have done both on this wig. If you’re looking for more glueless options, I have many more reviews of others (Raquel Welch, Jon Renau, and Ellen Wille wigs)- although they are synthetics- not sure if you’re only looking at human hair. I have a separate playlist for all of them or they can just be found in the videos section 🥰 each style comes in different colours. Curious how does the crown look with out wearing a cap. Never seen this done with out a cap. My hair is the same length of yours and about the same color.

After having a craniotomy, my ear is sensitive when anything pressing on it. What wig do you recommend that doesn’t bend your ears forward? I have a smaller head

Hi! This is an excellent question, and YES, if you're using the Got2B Glue, it does come loose in water- so rain would definitely make it slide. This is not something I would do if it was raining and if I was going to be out in the rain. If you're just passing through, like, going from your car into a building, and using an umbrella, you don't have to worry about it coming loose at all. you literally have to put water on it or have water hit your head where the glue sits. If you're looking for a more secure option, I would try a tape (like the Walker Tape) that doesn't come off with water. That can last you up to 2 weeks, and will need a special remover to take it off. Even if you only use the Walker Tape for just one day, it can still be removed, but only with a remover product. It's the most secure way. The remover can be purchased from here: wigs.pxf.io/WalkerTapeRemover (they also sell the Walker Tape here too) 💜 Hope this helps! XO

You put it on your hair?!! I know you know what you’re doing. And I understand how it comes off with water. How can you get it off if you don’t want to get the entire thing wet in the shower? (Congratulations on your baby girl!!!)

Hey! Thank you so much for the congratulations! She is such a sweetheart! Yes, I do put it in my hair because I want to use my own hair on the sides of my head instead of just using the lace. This is especially useful, if on the sides of the wig it’s not plucked and I want it to look extremely natural. I actually do this a lot if the roots are similar to my own hair. If the wig didn’t have roots, I would not do this because then my own hair would show and it wouldn’t look real, in which case then I would make sure to glue the lace onto my skin in front of my own hair. It’s still really easy to get it off, all I do is wet a face wash cloth, and pat the wig’s lace at the front where I’ve applied the glue. Then it just slides right off. And then with my own hair I can either wash my hair that night or I can keep applying water with the wash cloth to my own hairline to get the glue off. It basically dissolves in water and it’s super easy to take off.

Yes, absolutely!!! I use it to moisturize and protect my hair... my hair is also fine =) And I find I get less breakage when using coconut oil

@@darlenegera8866 to be fair, when coconut oil is put on hair, it may make it look more stringy, but if you’re wearing a wig then nobody will see it 🤗 it’s just a protective barrier. As soon as you wash your hair again, it will come out and your hair will be back to normal!! (But hopefully more hydrated in the process) 💕
