The concept of mini-retirement changed my life. I'm no longer waiting for some retirement paradise when I'm 65. It helps to know how to fund the lifestyle. You know, making money while you sip that piña colada by the beach does help. I wouldn't have been able to do it otherwise.

Yeah, people miss that part. You don't jet out to Puerto Rico with your life savings. Proper investing and a good business acumen are big pluses. Invest in the stock market, real estate, build businesses. That's just it.

Safe to say not everybody has the skill to pursue investing. But it's always easy to follow the advice of someone who knows how to i.e a financial advisor. You could anywhere between 10--40k with the right ones. Online businesses are a good bet too if you are savvy.

Since I started watching your channel, and got your programs I went from zero rentals to 3 in Colorado including a huge house hack that I’ve gained 400k in equity in. Plus my other house double and I have heloc on two of them and am getting ready to get started on my next two rentals. And I have 2 lp investments in apartments. Thanks Kevin

Pace yourself. If the market drops you might lose everything. Those of us who have been doing RE since early 2000s saw lots of bankrupt people after 2007-2009.

@@networth00 I’m making sure not to overleverage. I make 300k or more on my w2 and my rentals cover the mortgages and then some. But I am taking it faster than my dad wants me to and slower than I want so I think it’s a good mix;)

@@AndrewKuntzman Need to go very slow at this point. Take a break and wait to see what's going to happen. No need to be in a hurry in this crazy market. You don't want to pay top dollar only to have the market crash and then be upside down, will take years to recover. I'm just saying we've all seen it happen before. If I were you I would hold and not buy anything until at least this winter. That's not hard to do, plus prices usually drop when it gets cold because there are fewer buyers.

I don't entirely agree about the savings account. I think it's good to keep at least $1k in savings with overdraft protection turned on. If you get that giddy about investing, you'll be more likely to overdraw. Maybe stick another $1k or so into an online savings account that you don't check very often, such as Ally Bank. Out of sight, out of mind.
