Took me a hour to get the mars landing down but after that it was a breeze just make sure your fuel is good

I usually do a reentry burn after going in orbit 500m above mars atmosphere... saves the heatshield and is more fun... Or i once saved 0.0001% of fuel by dipping into the atmosphere and then going out again and fliopping ontop of it... takes a microscopic amount of fuel less

Hey! Separating boosters while they are active is a really bad idea, it can destroy the rocket! So please, dont do that, Same with vertical separation

Side boosters can be de separated while they are active because they are hugeee and too heavy and 1% fuel cant do tht big of a difference and while they are active they will go outwards no matter what because of the separation force of the side separators😊

Well he also wasted fuel by not refueling the core stage using the Liquid Rocket Boosters and he should have used Valiant engines for the core stage because that’s only useful in high places in the atmosphere. And he didn’t have a second stage that uses the Kolibri Engine he just goes directly landing on the moon and that is useful to correct where your trajectory is without having pressure to lower it too low or too high.

Oh and note that the worst is that the boosters actually hit themselves which is very bad considering how much fuel he wasted. And also the 2nd stage I mean after the 1st stage is separated in low earth orbit and the Kolibri engine is now used to get him to mars.

my personal heit for mars reentry is 5500 i just think it gives more time for the heat shields to slow down so i dont hit the ground at 500 mt per second💀

use the three stage example rocket and land on different planets individually (don't forget to quicksave and don't click resume game if you already landed on a planet) thats all ig

It’s called aerobreaking. You get pretty close to the ground and the aerodynamics slow you down.
