Chris Holifield I agree. I found it pretty useful as I'm just starting to try and master the mouth calls. I've always used a box caller.

Dude I gotta thank you for this. I had watched your video, and was kind of messing around on a slow morning on some private land I haven't hunted in a long time. Birds weren't gobbling very well, and I didn't have a whole lot of confidence in striking a bird. Weather has been wierd and they just shut up. But anyway, I had practiced at home and after a short yelping sequence I just thought hell with it and fired off a gobble. A Tom fired back, a long way off, and I gobbled again. He cut me off with a double gobble, this time sounding like he had covered about half the distance. I didn't make another sound and neither did he. He crossed a small field in front of me at a dead run, and I shot him at four steps, basically in self defense. I have no idea what I said to that turkey in his own language, but it pissed him off some kinda bad. 25 lbs, 11 1/4 inch beard with 1 1/4 spurs on both legs. One of my biggest, and I just wanna say thanks for the tutorial bud. I never could have done it if I hadn't watched your video. Good luck this season.

I haven't found a latex call that I can depend on being consistent. Regardless the reed, like a Co2 pellet gun they go downhill w/every shot. I've considered different material. Do you make your calls?
@JaseOutdoors10 жыл бұрын
I don't make my own calls. Mostly use Zink Calls.

Let's hear your mouth call basics. We've heard Sean's. Lol you and I call similar. Talk about brands and break in. Woodhaven has the longest break in ever. I prefer the mad or primos. Haven't tried zink yet

@skylerdaniels79477 жыл бұрын
How far does it go in your mouth
@JaseOutdoors7 жыл бұрын
Skyler Daniels I just slide the call back slightly farther than I would when makin yelps. That's why there's a pause from yelping to the gobble because I have to reposition the call. But try different things and calls because everyone is different
