How to Grease Linkage Bearings // AJAX Tech Tips

As part of your periodic maintenance, don't overlook the grease in your linkage bearings. It's quick, easy and cheap... if you do this regularly.

Glad to see someone other than me doing this. I can't count how many bearings I had to service. Some greases resist water better than others. That red moly used in tractors seemed to hold up well. 2 hour Xc mud races put grease to the test.

Would it be best to also regreased swing arm pivot at same time🤷‍♂️

Yes, it would be great to do that at the same time, however, the swing arm often gets overlooked because it can be a more tedious task than doing the linkage since you'll need to remove quite a few more parts to get it off. Don't neglect it but it is a little more out of the dirt than the linkage is and it doesn't suffer quite as much. Good question.

Why yes sir you can buy those there on back order till June but you can also have a bearing place make or find you some if needed right now so there’s your answer
