Thank you so much you’re life saver! I’ve been trying to figure out where the chroma key is and the videos that I watched before didn’t show really where the chroma key was. You earned a new sub!😊 I have a question tho there is still a slight green around me do you know how to fix it?

Make sure your lighting is good while shooting the video. Stand with a minimum 2-4 feet distance from the green screen. When editing, make sure to use the available tools to key out the exact spot you want to key out which is green color

Yes by adjusting the settings i.e. intensity etc. however, if you are on iPhone, iMovie usually does a better job at smoothing out the edges etc.

If you are editing on CapCut, a green screen works best with good lighting setup so the key affect is smooth.

does this mean i need to buy a green screen and which one should i get ... or can you do it on a wall ?

With CapCut, it's important that you buy a screen. Although a wall can work but not as good as an actual Green Screen. To your second question, it should be a cloth with good quality which blocks most of the light passing through, that usually is the difference between expensive and slightly cheaper screens. If you go with a cheaper option, you might have to use multiple layers to get the best affect without compromising the quality of key out.

Improved lightning can help. If the lighting isn’t too good in your room, try using imovie instead, which works better in low light. I have a video on that on my channel, you can watch that one!

The further you sit from the background, the less reflection would show on the background. Hence improving the quality of keying out the background.

I "deselected" the background and I did not see the "overlay" come up. I am using the desktop. What am I doing wrong?

This tutorial was for the app, desktop might have different options.

Unfortunately yes. Although CapCut is one of my favourite video editors. When it comes to green screen videos, I would prefer other editors like iMovie as an example.
