Brushes or grooming combs don’t really work on mini Rexes or the Rexes we have. We usually end up having to pluck out the loose fur as it pops out from their coat. They can usually stand about 5 minutes of it before its over. 😂 Nail trims are done once a month. 1 out of 6 gets the bunny burrito in a towel. The other 5 will tolerate the nail trims but dig at the towel when they get annoyed. They know what to expect as seniors. 6 to 12 years of age. Sarah From Minnesota

Your bun, Primrose, is so cute. Let's not forget that the front paws have 5 nails and the hind paws have 4 nails. And have cornstarch handy in case you accidentally cut the quick. My rabbits hate getting their mani and pedis.

Thanks! 💞 Yes, it's super important to stay clear of the quick (oUcH)!! We often use a flashlight while clipping to better see exactly where we should cut.

Great video! My buns are brats when it comes to brushing/clipping so I'll be trying out these techniques for sure. My Netherland dwarf has hair to be yanked on her bum, and funny enough she doesn't seem to mind that as much. I got my rabbits clippers at dollar tree! And they're actually really good if you need to save some money

Primerose just sat so nicely for u! My Hubert doesn't! He used to but for the last year or so he wants nothing to do with being picked up and when I do , I clippy claws real fast, put him down and then he pees😮 Just at vet for yearly and all ok. Maybe just cause he's getting older and maybe more stressed for some reason.? He was 7 in April. Thx for vid!

My rabbits love the herbal mixes and snackers from SPS. My rabbits are shedding like crazy so I have been using a fur buster every other day. Primrose is so cute!

It's recommended to brush lionhead cuties several times a week to maintain all their fluff. We'll work on getting a video or blog on this topic, thanks! 💚
