Solid video BUT I think the statement that “you and big KZfaqrs have the same amount of time” is misleading. A majority of LARGE KZfaqrs have editors, so they could game for hours and hours while someone is editing their content. While smaller KZfaqrs NEED to stop gaming to edit themselves.

Good point. While it’s true that technically every human in the planet only gets 24 hours per day, it’s also true that larger KZfaq’s are usually full time and therefore can afford to spend more time creating content and more money on editors. However, I believe the telethon of the point still stands - regardless of how big the creator is or how many editors they have, there’s still no way one creator can monopolise an entire market.

I have a piece of advice that is more important than anything. If your videos only get like 20 views, keep on going. I've kept going since 2020, and now I have 200 subs. My videos are getting more viewed, and I have a decent fanbase.

I feel like I'm doing those 9 steps. Maybe I could work on more edits but using myself as an intended audience, I dont like sfx, cuts, and other things like that in my League of Legends videos. I think I have a pretty good thumbnail & title combo and I'm nicheing on Teemo Jungle. I wonder if my issue is having a couple friends watch my vids when they are posted. I'm pretty sure they both watch league content at least sometimes but their other interests are pretty far from my target audience so maybe that's confusing the promotional alg. When I made a different style video it easily did 10x my average. Good video, enjoyed the pacing and effort you've put in.

My idea for my "x factor" - making family friendly videos for more mature games. My first sets of videos is actually a challenge run in Dark Souls 2 that doesn't have a full video for it right now (I've search a few times and only found tips for it but not full game videos like most other challenges have). However, watching the other big channels that do challenge runs, I notice they are swear (some more frequently than others). Now, nothing against them as From Soft games can bring out lots of colorful words from people, but there are so many gamers out there with kids who would enjoy either a playthrough, challenge run, or guides for these more mature games without having to make sure there are no kids around while they watch them.

It's been 4 months and i gain 40 subscribers so far. Be consistent with your VIDEOS. Even if you upload like one or two videos a month. It doesn't matter. As long as the content is CONSISTENT. This is one of the tips i take seriously from you. It works.
