How To Grow an Almond Tree at Home

Learn how to grow an almond tree at home from an almond.
It is very easy to do and very fun.
You only need to get natural raw almonds and germinate them. After germinating the almonds put them on soil and they will sprout.
They grow well. In this video I show a 4 month old almond tree and it grew quite a lot in that short amount of time.

15 to 18 days enough in fridge. Replace to soiled plastic bowl.. wet it daily (spray water ).castor oil apply the plastic bowl side of wall . For protect from ants .important. plants are grow well successfully. True.

reminder to you guys, if you live in the USA, almonds here are always pasteurized, even if they are labeled raw, so they cant germinate. try to buy almonds overseas or straight from a farmer.

One BIG question. If you are planting a sweet (eating) almond, can you be sure the resultant tree will also be a sweet almond, or do you have to be concerned it will revert to being a poisonous bitter almond? I know almonds don't come true to seed, but can you count on that much at least?

Hi, Do you ever try sprinkling cinnamon on the seeds as they sprout? I've heard that cinnamon retards the mold from forming. Tysm for this video.

Hi Rachele! I normaly dont sprinkle cinnamon on the seeds but I confirm that it is good for preventing mold from forming. Thanks for adding good info. I am glad you liked this video! 🙂🙏

Are those unpasteurized raw almonds? Because in USA 🇺🇸 it required by law for them to Pasteurize raw almonds Where can you get the raw almonds you’re using? Or will raw pasteurized sprout 🌱?

What about putting them outside. There's no way to know if the almonds you buy in the store will survive where you live.

We tried it one year ago and our tree is still growing! We are noticing the leaves becoming yellow. Do you have any advice for what is causing it? The plant is outdoors. Maybe we have not watered it enough? Or too much?

Hi Ozztam! I cant know for sure what happened. I dont know if it was this case but almond trees when young are sensible to very hot breezes or temperatures. The leaves start to wrinkle, get yellow or brown and fall. Eventually the plant can die. 😥

at the store when we bought our almond trees, they told us the tree isnt self pollinating so well and they recommended us two different varieties, and when you buy already grown trees people always say you could expect fruit / nut in third year, but if you grow from seed it could take 5-7 years, depends on how good it grow and if that was a "lucky" seed, you never know if it will taste good or bad

Hi there, you are right. Because of my ignorance about how to best care of goldfish, they were as you can see in this video. For decades what we see is a goldfish inside a simple small aquarium and I think unfortunatly thats what most people do. However I can assure you that in June 2022 I gave them to a person that has good conditions and has a big aquarium and other fishes. At this moment they are doing fine. Before these I has 2 goldfish in the same conditions, one lasted 5 years and the other lasted 7 years (this is a true story). Thanks for the alert and I agree with what you say and I am sorry for the conditions I had the goldfish because of my ignorance about the subject.

I'm pretty sure goldfish breath air from the Top of the surface aswell this is why they are so easy to keep also a goldfish will only grow as big as it's environment is , aslong as he does water changes that fish will be fine although I do recommend a filter as goldfish are messy eaters and if U have a filter it requires less water changes 👌

PUT A GOLDFISH IN A LARGE AQUARIUM WITH PROPER AERATION AND THEY WILL NOT SWIM AT THE TOP SUCKING FOR AIR... THEY WILL SWIM LIKE ANY OTHER FISH... AND WILL GROW VERY LARGE... @@williamr6372 I also recommend that he used a filter to clean the water it would also replenish the oxygen amounts in the water if the water breaks the surface , and if he does regular water changes in that tank it would also replenish the oxygen levels also these fish have nature on there hand helping them with things like lower levels of oxygen as being able to breathe from the surface. I personally do agree with a larger tank but Hey I don't see no big outbreak of algae or the goldfish going belly up soon 👌
