Well even though you are right about the tree being from seed, the seeds in bananas have been domesticated and have become infertile, which means the seeds are not fully developed yet. :)

Well a couple of them went in too deep, and germination rate for bananas is low. They need very specific conditions and are very hard to grow.

@@ronena2476 Germination rate varies between seeds/plants and even between supplier, banana plants germination are low but examples of higher germination rate plants would be radishes, lettuce, grasses, your common weeds, etc. There’s much more but these are the common and well-known examples. Germination rate individually also depends on conditions, you have to put your seeds in their proper conditions for them to sprout. For example, some seeds require a dormant cold period before planting and sprouting (a “winter”). Temperature and drainage are also key factors.
