I love your passion. I spent a summer growing two giants. Lots of work. Bugs were the biggest problem. Picking the culls were constant. Wish I had the space to do it for a hobby now. Good luck.

Very impressive! I'm growing watermelons at the moment. Should I cut tip of the vine that has a watermelon that I want to keep? Thank you.

Did you say that each bed has only one plant? And say you were to grow them for consumption how many melons per bed would you get? Thanks!

Those melons are amazing! I picked my first watermelon today. I'm only growing them to eat, not for competition.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I have a question on pollination. Do you leave the vine alone to pollinate it own, or do you pick the male flowers and tap the pollen off to the female flowers?? I do this technique with pumpkins, and just wondering if its the same.
