Methi is single time crop, After harvest you have to start again from seeds. If you don't harvest plants start flowering and seeds come from it in 2 months

Thank you , You can harvest any time after 20 days. If you harvest at two leaf stage then its called as Microgreen, if you grow big then its regular Methi. Methi is one time crop, after harvesting you have to use fresh seeds to grow again. Happy Gardening

I know this is an old comment but for anyone else out there....plant sprouts don't need soil or sunlight because they get all their nutrition from the seed. Once the seed is used up, water alone will not be enough. They will start dying if they're not given another source of food. Microgreens are harvested before that point.

I took hand full of seeds, Yes Water just to touch the vessel but not the seeds. sprouts roots should touch the water. Once roots grow bigger water no need to touch the vessel

You can try with the same approach... If you want to grow for bigger palak leaves it takes 1 month time and you have to keep under sunlight at least 2 hours per day. it also may require to add nutrition's into the water for better growth.
