Thanks for your videos. Iwas born in a small village located around Cameroon 🇨🇲 and Nigeria 🇳🇬 border centre/west Africa. Growing up there was no Internet connection nor roads we had to trek for 3 hours to get to Nigeria or 9 hours to get to Cameroon, in other to see good roads or sell our crops, but trust me it was fund and it really made me stronger. My parents where small farmers till 2009 i lost my dad, we had to moved to Lagos Nigeria in 2011. I can remember in my small village my parents didn't have to go through a lot of stress because the land was very fertile and any crop they ever planted was doing extremely well, without fertiliser or watering the crops. 2 years ago I started watching alot of videos on how to farm, because prices of food stuffs in Lagos for the past 2 years has really been going up, and I realised how blessed my small village is lol. I'm happy because my dad's houses are still there. I'm 26 years old and I've been saving up, I can't wait to go back to my village and start up my farm with all this experience I've had in watching different videos and learning more about different virity of crops. I'm really greatful🙏

Thanks for the video.♡♡♡ I grew okra last year, but not from seed. So this tips on growing from seed is a plus. I came to realize as you mentioned, not to let the okra grow too large. It was hard a brick! 😅 Wish I would had watched this video early last year. I lost loads of okra because I left it of the bush too long, unfortunately.

For quick germination, soak the seeds in water. Then after 3 hrs, transfer them into a wet kitchen towel. 3 days later they will germinated for transplantation. This method works for other seeds as well.

Every time you pull out a plant you are wasting food. Do not overplant. If there is poor germination you can add seeds later instead of pulling them. First rule of gardening is to stagger your planting so that you will have continuous harvest. Don't plant all of a vegetable at once. You should be able to pick what you need for weeks or months, not a stockpile all at once. Plant a few seeds this week then wait and plant a few more seeds in 2 weeks, etc.
@davidbrieske6148

Exactly. If they don't germinate, I just put in another seed. I don't understand the concept of thinning, unless the seeds are too small to plant separately.

with fast growing okra, you need to harvest it fast and often. If you let it get too big, it will become too fibrous and woody. Harvest it small and soft

Wonderful information. I have transplanted a big about 6-7 feet tall persemon tree in the back yard, last February (2021) After about a month it did give small, beautiful leaves and showed good signs as if it survived the transplant shock. These leaves then dried off, may be to the fall season. Now this in NO sign of leaves, my other plant of persimmons had already given out big leaves. What should I do to revive this plant? I have been watering it regularly and had put plant food and other things last year...Please advise
