Dude I grew like hella peach seeds (keep in mind I spent months, money and time stratifying them in the fridge and finally planted them). Goddamn birds ate all of them. Lesson learned: Do not plant peach seeds outside without protection holy ****! Understand my pain because I literally had 100 multiple seeds including nectarines, plums, pluots, Saturn peaches that got obliterated by these birds lmao. All that time cracking open each shell and hydrating them and putting them in the fridge just down the drain. Anyways sorry for going crazy, I just had to share 😅 Good job growing those seeds though. Too bad peaches aren’t in stores right now, I’ll have to wait in spring and summer. I did grow a few pomegranate seeds though.

Okay, what’s the story on most fruit trees are grafted onto different root stock. How do your trees do? Are they healthy for years and produce a lot of fruit? I’m confused

So you put the shell with seed inside with soil inside a bag? The seed will crack open by its self

That’s correct. It’s natures way. Some people have qualms about this stating that the shell must manually be removed. This is false.

@@PlantFanatics Thanks, that's crazy i been having a tough time with that. Also, I have avocado seed that grew into a plant. Then I made the mistake to re potting it. Now the leafs are facing down. then I repot again with better soil. I'm not sure it's in shock I hope it doesn't die off.

I'm crying cuz I have 3 seeds and the temperature goes from hot to cold to hot very quick here , this caused my seeds to litterally not do anything after a good 4 weeks of planting them Did I kill them 😮

A few months? Waste of time. It's easy to crack them open and they get started way faster that way. Besides if you have hundreds of them who cares if you break one. Why spend months when you can spend weeks? Seriously it's only 2-3 weeks.

This way they push their own shell off. Why waste your time cracking them when you can just put them in the fridge?
