Hey hunnie. I used olive oil with a bit of black castor oil. You can use any good and available oil - grapeseed oil, teatree oil, avocado oil, amla oil etc... 😊❤️

Hey sis, thanks for the question. No! Please dont replace the water. Apply the cloves water and then apply the oil over and deep condition your hair too moisturize your hair as well to help with the dryness . Hope it makes sense 😊❤️

Dear Yvette, yes there's a natural alternative to cloves and it's Onions.The juice from the red onions. Mix it with some black castor oil and apply on your edges and be consistent with it. I will be sharing a video on this 😊❤️

Sorry to hear. Moisturizing and oiling your hair frequently while using cloves does help a lot to control the dryness and maybe not use it too often giving some days break in between 😊❤️
