ya people are just really wanting the game to fail. Tons of people playing, tons of servers 24/7. Game is alive and doing well.

I play on the South African servers and they are literally 10 times more populated than BF1 ever was. So at least its far from dead on my side.

Its not dead by any stretch. You clearly dont own it and are just listening to talking heads and twitch streams. bf is never going to compete with fortnite or whatever the new twitch f2p br shit is. For one, fortnite can run on a microwave while heating up yesterdays chinese food, or a phone. Dead games do not place me in full matches within seconds. Dont talk about which you do not know. Ill be the first to condemn ea and their terrible leftist marketing but saying the game is dead is a flat out lie. we know sales were hurt but its not showing in the lobbies. In the end, it will probably keep a better base than bf 1 on pc as it wont be divided by dlc, which tends to be bad on pc with its smaller player base.

Never played BF since BF3 but I'll say the gun play feels so good and I think it'll be even better after TTD fix. The only two things I loathe aboute this game are an abundant amount of hackers(SEA) and poor visibility

I think tanks should have a blanket buff to movement and turret speed.

FINALLY someone else who feels the same way! I've been playing battlefield since bad company 1 and loved the tanks in the majority of the games, but they're incredibly underpowered in this game. The tanks are more effective at taking out vehicles than infantry.

@@ianucci That's almost what I don't want to happen- imo, tanks should be rough as fuck to take out, but I have no problem with lessened mobility. Like, modern tanking makes sense for better mobility, but in WWII these types of tanks should act more as hard targets that can be in the thick of combat for longer periods of time without being destroyed. The turn speed and movement speed are what make them balanced, but their armor allows them to stay engaged for longer periods of time.

I just think it's strange that tanks can withstand so many enemy tank shots but panzerfausts shred them easily

Zyzor You forgot the BAR!! Why did they bring back so many weapons from BF1 that weren’t even in WW2 but failed to give us iconic WW2 era weapons like M1 Garand , PPSh, BAR? Stupid as fuck. It demonstrates they were rushed in their development time frame. The BAR was even in BF1 but they failed to bring it back for BFV -absolutely absurd!! They had all the sounds and model already done

Yea but we haven't seen it with such an amazing game engine. And it's mainly for marketing. You need to get people with well known Battles and names. It's why World of warships announces the Bismark or the Yamato a million times in their ads on youtube. It's why Warthunder is rethinking their naval mode with PT boats named PR23546 or T45467. Nobody knows those, they want ships they have heard about. If I want to know about unpopular or less known battles I will read about them which I do since that stuff interest me. But if you asked me would you rather have a game remake Kursk or Narvik. Remake Rotterdam or Caen. Im going to say Kursk and Caen. I do appreciate operation Battle Axe being in the game though.
