I will be ordering the nano tape. My walls are textured and we are very part time RVers. The command strip don't work well in our camper. Especially if it gets hot in there, they just fall off. But, they work fine on the wood cabinets . I have museum puddy( I call it earthquake wax. Used to live in an earthquake prone part of WA) . I didn't even think of using it in the camper. Thanks.

One that came in our used RV came off so we set it down on our dresser. We forgot about it. We picked it up a few days later and it took piece of the dresser 😖. But we still like those products. Double sided tape is awesome. 🤣😂 coffee mug on wall. We love our magnets. We’ve been using them for years. We did it for a bathroom garbage can to stay in place. The rubber liner helps a bit but shove a pillow in the cabinet works. Larry 3D printed our own spice holders attached to the inside of the cabinet. Great tips as always. Thanks. Alice

Great video. I have a large heavy, 15 ish lb picture of Prince that I want to hang in my rv, I was thinking I probably should take out the glass to make it lighter but not sure if there is command strips strong enough? I love the magnets I could think of multiply ways to use, but not sure if I would use around electronics, I could very well be wrong, but I thought magnets and electronics don't mix well. :( .....happy travels :)

Magnets need to have a warning! Don’t put them anywhere near computer devices especially SSD, SD Cards, bank cards, credit cards; they can destroy the item in seconds. Also when using magnet to hold metal door open like washer or dryer use a self stick silicone dot which come in various sizes to cushion the door and prevent scratching the door! Beware of the magnets though with you digital devices! One more really good use is finding a lost dropped screw or washer! 😁

Thanks for the great video. I am researching things like this because I have purchased a double retractable clothesline that I want to mount inside my laundry closet and the other "ports" for the ends of the lines to the wall across from that. I am torn as to whether to try using command strips or if I should just go straight for the drill. There's the weight of the clothesline base itself and then the weight of the clothes. (And as you said, the jostling around as you move down the road.) They will only be damp by the time they get placed on the line but damp towels are still somewhat heavy. What do you recommend, and what is the best way to find a stud before you start to drill ? I really don't want to learn this the hard way. Thanks again.

Thanks, Jared! Helpful as always. I’ve never seen the Nano Tape before. That’s cool! One question: when using the magnets (like for the remote) what do you use to affix the magnets to the table & remote? Glue? Nano tape? Command adhesive?
@SpykersB
@SpykersB 4 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing! I have a bunch of these itty bitty little magnets, got them at princess auto, they are super strong I can see them pulling off the remote er not staying adhesive on the remote. (I use these little guys for odd ball stuff like one to hold the bathroom sliding door snap strap away from the door when opened so the strap snap doesn’t drag on the sliding door when opening n closing. Just using it’s magnetic properties to stay in place on the metal snap.) I think I would rather put the remote in drawer or a holder on the wall. Used a wall cell phone holder for two small remotes. Cheers 🍻

Is it just me? We bought our Class B Campervan brand new a year ago in October, put up command hooks to hold things ... and I'm gonna say 85% of them have fallen down now. A few we used to hold up netting bags, one was pretty full, a little weight, another small, holding remotes, a bottle of water, that's all. Had a couple holding KEY CHAINS. They both came down after a year.
