Wee tip when u mix ur paste in a basin use a roller to put paste on instead of a brush far quicker an paste dosing fly everywhere

Lining paper is hung the same way as normal paper, they are different widths. 52 and 53 cm or you do one from left to right and the other right to left as no wall is normally exactly X widths of paper.

Do you have any recommendation for sealing down the margins of the wallpaper if it is not covering the complete wall ? I want to apply only a stripe of wallpaper for decorative reasons.

I am not experienced, but guess it will not show because you would not normally be pressing/forcing the final paper in the very small gap. If you did that, it might show if the final paper is thin.

my bedroom walls are 1929 vintage and not totally smooth, should I use a liner before wall papering, but also in the upstairs bedroom can I paper over the unsed fireplace if the woodburner directly downstairs is in use

Gents,This is good. But what / how do we tackle a wall papering task behind a radiator ? Call the plumber and get the radiator moved until we do the wall papering. Perhaps not. So it would be great if you guys can touch on more difficult tasks that you can come across when you do wall papering. That would help a lot. Thanks for this video.

Just turn the radiator off at both entry and exit valves, relieve pressure through bleed valve, then drain the remaining water from the radiator as you disconnect it, and remove. Dead easy! Refitting is the exact opposite, except that you need to make sure you're ready to close the bleed valve when the radiator is full. Check the heating system pressure at the gauge near your boiler to make sure it's within the recommended parameters for your boiler, and you're good to go.

Then you need to have it stripped of of the texture which is made of artex, Or have the textured surface plastered over so its smooth, Might sound dounting but it's easy, first time I plastered was this year, over an artex chimney breast that the Mrs wanted wallpapered in the living room, we moved in this year, I went to b and q, I bought 2 angle beads and a bag of mutlifinish plaster, watched a couple KZfaq vids to see what I had to do then I did it... No issues no problems... Seemed hard at the time but in hindsight it was very easy to tell the truth

Can u wallpaper over old wallpaper? I mean must you really strip the old wallpaper off? Can it not just be used as lining paper?

@@itsteganx strange the reply went 🤔 bt yes hun I ended up stripping off old wallpaper which took ages plus behind the wallpaper the wall was terrible! So the rest off the place I just papered over the old wallpaper with new.

what will happen to the wallpaper if crack line does not fill up? even crack line is within 1mm width

Hi there, it's not recommended as doing so will likely lead to the wallpaper lifting at the seems. If you're unable to fill in the cracks, you will be best using a lining paper before hanging your wallpaper. I hope this helps!

Any primer work or any látex flat paint does.*just dont use acrylic paint*,sould be a flat non washable or a regular primer(oil or water base)...

If u put the edge of the paper along the edge of the table u won't have to keep wiping down

Alan Mathias if you cut all your paper then spread them slightly over both sides of pasting table you'll have no probes with glue mess
